They need high humidity to prevent pyraminding. They need heat 24/7 you'll need some CHE they also eat weeds and grasses don't feed them fruits they can't digest sugars

If he’s inactive and not eating take him to a vet, I don’t recommend Facebook groups they make things over dramatic. Some reptile pet shops can also help you out

I’m pretty sure you the one comment that, in either this account or my other one. He doesn’t give the proper care for each species that he owns. He mixes Tortoises species. At this rate his baby tortoises May have Failure syndrome due to the low humidity levels. I’m glad that he did what was correct for his Tortoises.

You have Xtra scutes baby sulcata it is possible to live as normal like other sulcata or tortoise that have normal scutes? Do u have an a adult sulcata with Xtra scutes?

Extra scutes doesn’t affect their health, they just have a more unique shell I don’t have adults with split scutes but I have a juvenile
