Sorry, of the slow reply, it all depends how much you want to spend really the astro can get expensive but you can get a half decent one for around £20 £25 on ebay from time to time. Or the new sets that Subbuteo put out, have a really good underrated starter pitch in them (just shame about the goals)

Collect what interests you, wether it be a certain team and all their kits, a stadium build or certain range. It's a real rabbit hole, and there is just so much it can get out of control... like I have. This site is great list and history of everything there is www.peter-upton.co.uk
