Unboxing & Review Of My Squale 1521 Onda Laguna

Found out about this very interesting and lovely Squale 1521 and just couldn't walk away. Please enjoy this review.
Update 01/02/2019: I inquired with Gnomon, whom this color watch face is exclusive to. They informed me that production was limited to 50 pieces. While they cannot say what exact number mine is, it is indeed one of 50 Squale 1521 Onda Laguna watches in the world.

Very nice. Picked up a Squale Matic 60 Atmos from Gnomon the other day. Great watches and great service from Gnomon. Love all the Squale haters, makes our Squales more exclusive.

An absolutely stunning watch! I totally agree with you, Dane... one thing Squale does very well is their dial colors. The cases on these 1521 are superb too, but the colors are almost mesmerizing.

That is a very nice watch. I happened to order a Squalematic from Gnoman on Black Friday, hey were having a sale. A slightly larger version of the 1521 with 22 lugs. Was much nicer then I thought. They also gave me a grey and black Nato Strap that did not go with my black and orange watch. I also got a Squale Rubber Strap for it. Happy New Year

Bought this laguna model from the physical shop in Singapore yesterday 2 years later from this video. Actually online Gnomon shop claimed that this model color is the shop"s exclusive which means to say its only available from this dealer. BTW i think Gnommon is pronounce like " Norman".

I never even knew it existed until Christmas Day 2018. I was only aware of the blue one. But when I went to Gnomon's site to look at prices, I saw this one, and just had to. Not regretting that impulse buy at all.

I got a squale the thing I like the most about it is how the color was pops I would have traded u my mesh bracelet don't like it too pinchy !!

You know.....that's a great idea for a video! Look for that soon. Both are incredibly solid watches. Zelos is less costly, even with the ETA movement. I think it holds its own against its older and more costly competitor.

Did Squale stop packaging the 1521 in the blue square box with the blue pillow?

I guess so. None of my Squales came in a square box.....they were all rectangular with the watch roll like this one did.

beautiful watch, very distinctive dial. That strap is just perfect for that dial colour. I think the mesh would be a downgrade in my book.

Beautiful watch, ugly strap. With a mesh bracelet it would look stunning and, I think, also suitable for any woman to wear given the truly dreadful choice of women's dive and sports watches.

Interesting you should say that, since not long after I made this video I purchased a Squale mesh bracelet and put this watch on it. All three of my 1521s are on mesh.
