That’s why I usually do you use a fan in addition to just having some circulating air which makes life a bit better. Potato soup sounds extra good I think my first meal in mine will be a stew.

Ah, thanks for the explanation on the 12 V plugs. I used my lunch pail cooker yesterday in the back plug and my phone to navigate in the front plug and my wieners weren't quite hot enough. Luckily, my son picked me up from the garage, where my Pontiac Montana is being repaired, and we plugged it into his Subaru on the way to the park for our picnic and they were warm enough to make hot dogs. It was a fun time, on a hot day, sitting at a picnic table under a big shady tree. And Monty didn't just have an AC issue, turning off to save the engine, but needed it's thermostat replaced, too. So my son drove me home. Still waiting for the phone call to tell me good or bad news. Eventually, I'll have to get the transmission fixed, too, as it is slipping. Fun times. Luckily, I have saved for these kinds of things. Better than waiting for it to become an emergency. :) Cheers, Bunny. Jon in rural BC, Canada

Alternative/repair? 1. Take multiple elastic hair ties & loop them together to make a chain or 2. Tie each end of the broken one to an elastic hair tie. (The hair tie would supply the extra length needed after breakage and tieing.)

Great job Bunny as always. You're so informative. I get fans that are rechargeable and they hold the charge, still USB but that way they don't have to be plugged into a power source while they're being used and I love those. I can rotate a few of them if I need to.

Hmm, I was thinking you could save your clip-on rechargeable fans (I have 2 Opolars) to use their charge at night, but the 12v double fan my be helpful moving are around in the cab while driving in a heatwave since you can set the directions at different angles. I was going to test that theory out with one of my Opolar fans clipped onto the handle above the passenger seat next week when I have to drive over the hill to a much warmer place during another raise in temps.

That tiny cooker is so cute! Currently we just have a 300 watt power station so we cook with propane or butane for now, but it's nice to know about gadgets like that. Also, we currently have one little usb rechargeable fan that makes a big difference when we are trying to fall asleep in a muggy van. It would be nice to have another though! That fan may be a little too chonky for our Toyota Sienna, but maybe a single 12v fan would work for us. Thanks for the info! 😊

Call the company and tell them about the tie down cord breaking. If it's a good company, they will re-engineer the cord to work and last a lot longer.
@BunnyPlaysHere3 ай бұрын
I did call and they immediately were concerned that something was wrong.. asked me to send the product back at their expense so they could see what happened to make improvements and sent a new one
@Christine1123592 ай бұрын
@BunnyPlaysHere I'm glad that they were concerned and willing to make appropriate changes. It was quite an embarrassment for the company that it broke, but they are willing to redeem themselves and send you a new and approved product. Please do a video on the improvement. This is how both we, as consumers, win and the company wins by showing the improvement.
@nightowl563011 ай бұрын
KZbin is playing for background noise for some reason this video came on made such a huge deal about nolstic breaking asking them to send you another one How about you just tie the two ends together call it good Very huge reaction for such mild inconvenience and a very simple fix 🤣
@BunnyPlaysHere11 ай бұрын
The reason why I made a deal of this is so that people can see that this did in fact happen. A lot of times whenever you purchase something and then it messes up. You don’t understand that you can actually consult with the company and that they need to know there’s a flaw in design of a certain item. I get feedback to companies whenever I do reviews and it helps them to do differently on their products, however, it also helps the audience to see that there is customer support or is not customer support, which is also very valuable based on the kind of items that they may be getting. It’s not blowing out of proportion or making it into a big deal. It’s just being honest and reviewing something fully, but also communicating the process of what happens sometimes so others can see that that might be their reality as well. Whenever I review products for companies, I make sure that they understand that my review will be very honest and that I will talk about the good and the bad instead of just glossing over something.

I have a similar fan (mine is USB chargeable, but good and strong like that) and I have used it for outdoor cooking/dining and it works great, especially if you have a little bit of shade. How cool of Road Pro to reach out and send you some stuff. Good choices, I think for your needs. I am interested in the crockpot! That sounds awesome for winter especially when I’m driving all day in heavy snow (I make a trip out to Utah every January for a conference) or even just when I’m wanting something a little more stick to my ribs substantial. A pot roast with potatoes and carrots would be yummy. You might be able to fix the cord with a pop toggle. Something like this would work, I think.
