Another line of sweet dolls. I can see why adult collectors would enjoy them, but I hope some parents/grandparents can afford to buy the dolls for young girls to love. How times have changed. I desperately wanted a Chatty Cathy for Christmas 1960, but did not get one. I think her price was in the $10 -$12 range.

I think with all the electronics that are SUPER expensive that parents are buying their kids today, a $150 doll is a steal!! I do hope these dolls will help get some young kids into collecting, we need to be able to pass the torch on 💜

Same with me. I really wanted a Chatty Cathy. It wasn't just the price, though. My mother disliked the facial sculpt and thought she wasn't pretty. I had a couple of friends who had Madame Alexander dolls and I really coveted those. No way my parents could afford one of those, though!

When I was a kid all dolls came with undies. I swear I constantly have to buy socks and undies for my dolls just like my kids 😂. I don’t understand what happens to them 😉❤️. I love these dolls, such beautiful details. They’re so cute ❤️

Her wig is the perfect level of curliness for her style. Some wig wax would give her even more polish and bring her up a notch, but I would not touch her beautiful face. The blue is lovely for multiple occasions too even post Christmas. I am loving how your nail polish matches all the pretty glitter in her skirt! And what an adorable cat shirt too!

This looks like a wonderful doll line! The articulation is nice. I was looking at Paola Reina dolls but they were not articulated. I'd have to buy an articulated body from another company and swap it out. I am going to take a look at the Ruby Red Fashion Friends. Thanks for sharing!

They're really a great size -- a little bigger than PR so they make a good older sister -- but that articulation at that price point is what is amazing! Not to mention how beautiful the faces are 😍

Oh my. What a beautiful doll. I love all dolls at all price ranges. Sometime the lower end dolls come with less guilt for me. Guilt over spending the money and guilt of not “playing” with them equally. ( I know that is silly). I do not have very many high end dolls except for my silicone baby dolls. My most expensive was #1700 new. Most of my dolls are thrift finds or second hand needing repair. I do restore old composition dolls. Strip down to original surface and fix and repaint. I feel an obligatory as a nurse to help old dolls to help them get better. I am a former nurse administrator who lost her job due to COVID in March. I had let my license expire 7 years ago as I was disgruntled with the health care system. I have very high ethical standards and found that maybe my standards are too high. How can they be too high when caring for folks lives or auditing the care of others. What?? We are talking about human lives here. Anyway, sorry for the rant. I have applied for hundreds of jobs to tide me over till full retirement. I’m 62. But I keep being asked why I’m applying for jobs I’m overqualified for? Well. Leave it to the young folks to climb the ladder. I just want to do an excellent job at something with less stress until retire. It is cutting into my doll budget!!!!! I cannot afford any doll right now. I know, first world problems. I so appreciate living vicariously through you. Honestly. I wish we lived closer ( I’m in Austin Tx). You are the coolest doll collector I have ever “met”. I love that your hubby is so supportive of your hobby. Hugs to him. Mine is supportive as well. I love your channel and both of you. I just found this review video, thank you for doing this! We have all of the Hearts for Hearts dolls and just discovered the Ruby Red Fashion Friends. Maya is gorgeous! I love these dolls, but the skin color varies so much in the photos I’ve seen. I think I remember that you have the H4H dolls, too, don’t you? If so, how does her skin color compare to Hearts for Hearts… is it close to Nahji, Nyesha, or Rahel? Thanks again!
