Unboxing & Setup: Microsoft Xbox One 1TB

Well, this may seem unexpected but I just purchased a 1TB Xbox One! I've been wanting to get into the Xbox One for a while, however I haven't had much of a reason to until now. I got it for the exclusives, mostly Halo 5 & Forza 6, as well any other exclusives that aren't on PC or any other console. I also want a new media center experience, and once the Xbox One adds DVR functionality for OTA TV signals with the TV tuner, I will start using it as my media center device.

Hope that console was the right one for you and made you happy. I went for the PS4. It was a great generation for Sony, and it saddens me that the Xbox One's launch pretty much ruined that generation for them. They're in a much better state now, and I finally got into Xbox with a Series X.

I don't know if it is just me, but I prefer discs ALOT more than digital downloads. You have something to show for your money. I especially enjoy discs with a computer. When I got windows 7 for my laptop, I used a disc instead of a flash drive. I love hearing that disc drive wind up and I love the satisfaction of pulling the disc out of the drive and sticking it in the tray. It tells you that it is working fine. I am probably way too young to have this opinion, but that's just me.

I was able to create my own Microsoft account and play some games on it. Before I played it I played with the Xbox 360 S Console for awhile.
