Is it better for me to go with a shure ulx-d digital system or a shure axient digital system for Saxophone on stage live or to use in a studio situation?

What hardware did you use to mount the 2 receivers side-by-side? Everything I've read online points to the RPW504 kit, but I also keep finding this can only fit a single ULXD4 receiver. Thanks!

why would you want to use two single receivers versus a dual or quad receiver?

There are a few reasons that our customers do it. Sometimes they start with one system, then purchase another, and another... and so on as budgets allow. They can purchase one at a time but cannot afford to purchase a quad unit up front. Another reason is it gives you a certain amount of modularity. A lot of our customers are facilities with multiple venues on site. Purchasing multiple single or dual units vs all quad units allows them to quickly move units from venue to venue if needed and only lose one channel vs having to remove a quad unit and losing four channels. Now... If you need a lot of channels it is definitely easier to buy all quad units to replace what you currently have. That will save you time and money in the long run. Great question! Do you know if you can use a slx2 handheld on a ulxd4 Reciever?

If you have to send your dual unit back for repair/warranty work, you are now down two units...instead of just the one. I would never buy dual/quad units for this reason alone.
