I have the older version of this that has the roll mark that says MODEL 1911 A1 with CAL. 45 underneath. Same pistol, just a different roll mark. It's a good basic 1911, I just wish they wouldn't have changed the roll mark.

These aren't budget, I'd say they're lower mid range, unless you're counting the upper crust custom 1911s, then you could say they're budget.
