In this video, I was unboxing the creation of Maestro Stefano Conia from Cremona, Italy. It is an “Antonio Stradivari 1715” violin model, made in 2019. This violin is available for view, test and purchase in JOHANN STRINGS VIOLIN, Singapore from 13 October 2020.

Looks like he has done this a million times! I’m a bit surprised at the lack of quality assurance. No verification of the angles and measurements. Just slap it together in a few minutes and it’s good to go!

Having a violin made for you by Stefano Conia today is exactly the same as having a violin made for you by Stradivari in the 1700's, so just as much as I would trust a Stradivari instrument to be as perfect as it is possible to be, I would expect a Stefano Conia instrument to be the same :)
