I still have my original Kramer Nightswan I bought new back in 1990ish. I compared mine to the new ones in store and not even close. My neck is way narrower and smaller over all. Regardless if it's a reissue or not, the fit and finish is ok on the new ones. There tuners are no where near as good. All the trash I've been unloading on these sounds bad ,, but there not horrible. I just had higher expectations with this guitar is all. If you want the high quality one's, get ready to open the wallets. Buddy Blaze was making original type versions for $5k. However that came with a certificate signed by him and Vivan Campbell. Like it said it just didn't do it for me because I was expecting a almost clone of my original. Instead of buying this however , I think I'd rather buy the Stage master the released as well. Just my opinion. Great video, cheers!
@TheHenkka654 жыл бұрын
Those Seymour Duncans in my opinion, do a very good job delivering the sound that made shredding great in the '80's. And if the nut is wider, well.. Damn good, because in my opinion (AGAIN!) I think that the original's neck was a bit too thin. Of course, those are very personal preferences; I like my necks 'modern C- wide' but not that thick. Anyways, I'm very glad to see them in production again. I hope the good 'ol Guitar oriented skillful playing rock comes back again. These kind of guitars were made for that :-)

@@CAHouseMusic Indeed, which brings me back to my original point...that $899 guitars SHOULD come with a gig bag. I know manufacturers who ship gig bags with their guitars at this price level, for example all PRS SE models. I'm not singling Gibson out. This is a consumer relationship decision that I think short changes the buyer and I give credit to Paul for realizing that. All rights to every model and likeness. Also “Gibson” Kramer a few years back made a few runs of guitars (Barettas and Pacers) in the USA. Might want to check those out. They were great guitars. I’m confused, however, about your theory. If the only 80’s guitars were real Kramer’s, why is it savage for this dude to wear a Gibson shirt unboxing an Indonesian Kramer? Makes no sense.
