D10 has only 1 pair of the middle vents but I'd prefer if you kept both pairs of vents, again, I'm not forcing you to, just do what you love and be awesome 😉 (Oh, and while many HO users have made a D10, I'd like to see one made by you, again, I'm not demanding, it's perfectly fine if you can't 😀

i've seen videos of custom ones that that work just fine on the track threw tunnels and birdges.haven't seen one with sheds yet but if youput the claw low enough into the body so it can't hit anything while it moving and make the claw only hand-powered like the fans have it seems easy to make so if fans can make a working diesel 10 why can't Bachmann and Hornby?

You say £30 is a bargin eh? Well... I can honestly say the MOST I've spent on a S/H loco (And I've bought about 13 this year, if not more!) is £50, and that was for a beautifully built kitbuilt loco. Most of my S/H RTR purchases have been £40, (A few fairly-new Bacchy Bits) and the rest (about 2/3 to 3/4) have been under £30, the two cheapest being £2 each (running - a Hornby 0-4-0ST and a Playcraft Class 21.) There have even been a few freebie locos, but being a member of a club helps with that. A NEW Hornby Bulleid for £40 and a new terrier for £10 (From the Bluebell, Ltd Edition too!) have got to be some of the highlights!
@SamsTrains7 жыл бұрын

Hi Sam, I don't know if you read comments on these older videos but have just seen all three of your Warship videos and a small error was made in all of them. The wheel arrangement is not Bo-Bo but B-B as the drive axles on each bogie are not independently driven but linked with a shaft. I know you are not a diesel enthusiast so I hope this is informative, don't feel bad as Hornby also got it wrong on their paperwork by the looks of it. Applies to Westerns, Hymeks and 22's as well.

Probably late in the day! Just a note about head codes as your knowledge seems to be wrong. The 4 digit head code system on the front of locos dates to the 1960's. The meaning of the digits are from left to right- 1st digit is numeric and indicates type of train 1=express passenger. 2nd digit is alpha character indicating destinations for the operating region. The V on the WR = inter regional train. Digits 3 and 4 are numeric indicating the train being hauled place in the day's timetable. For all regions the letter "A" is usually the London terminus.
