Blessed B Thy WiLL Hey Mate, I think you might be meaning the Digital Boss Re-20… I have one and it can’t touch the analog RE-201 with ACTUAL TAPE running through it and multiple heads. URI would have to pull off a miracle to do it……. But it sounds Soooooo much better (but is in the $1000’s now)…. The digital unit is a poor facsimile at best unfortunately

I am all for that as I am looking to get one. Just wonder if they are there yet - so far it seems like analog is at the top of their list and not VA's?? Not sure if the legendary JP8000 would be a smash like the other "clones"??? But id be down if they could add more poly and fx to it, but add the dope filters etc as on the orig.and make the price like the ms1 or so!! AWESOME!!!

Guys I've discovered something that blew my socks off. The RD9 accepts midi CC. I found this out completely by accident but CC75 affects the RD9 hi hats pitch. Let me know if it works for you guys and if you find out any other CCs that work. Can't find the midi implementation chart anywhere.

I'm on a mission to get my Yamaha DTX E-set to send individual analog pad signals into my mixer into my DAW. The closest I got to this was via midi but the midi signal is too inconsistent. My question is...will this machine accept the midi input signal from my DTX and separate each signal to then send the analog individual outs?

I used to own a 909 about 30 years ago. I brought it brand new and I think it cost me £300:00 to put it in perspective I was doing an apprenticeship and was earning £30 a week . Me and a few mates had a little studio set-up in my mums garage Tascam 34, Tascam 32, Yamaha SY22 I think, Casio CZ101, Casio SZ1, Roland Drumatix and Bassline. Arrgghhh the good old days :-)

No they tweaked it enough design-wise so there is no infringement. They originally had it labeled 909 and had to take it off.

Blame apple for that. App designers literally cant touch their code for updates until apple gives them the okay. They'll probably charge Behringer to do it as well. The very nature of being on apples store is anti competition. They cant link any of their behringer products onto the app without shelling out 30%. They arent making any money on the app by being connected to apple. They're infact losing money to try this out. Of course they arent going to really bother updating it.

And if you make proper code, you would not normally have any problem with a new version of your app. None of the last 5 releases of iOS has broken our app.

I'm Producing on hardware for over thirty years and let me tell you this amongst my many hardware modules I have an old Dr Rythym and would you believe it wipes the floor with the 909. Although I can't pitch the Drum sounds on it the drum sounds especially the bass drum and snare wipe the 909. I have Korg Modules as well that are better. All the people who think the 'go to" module is the 909 have clearly not heard Other modules. As for all the 'hot names" who used it becoming a reason for people buying it? That's just their own lack of experience with other modules
