I love my s1 pro from LeFeet. I probably wont buy a new one right now but damn I'd like to try this new one.

No, it doesn't make sense to change from s1 to p1. You still have a great scooter.

Damn! Who did you have to sleep with to get that? I was a backer on the original S1. It took a year and 8 months for them to fulfill it. I have two S1s, an S1 Pro, and practically every accessory- leg straps, tank strap, dual handle, single handle, SUP mount and wired trigger, extra batteries. I was one of the original Kickstarter backers back in October of 2018 and then they had to move it to Indiegogo and kept pushing the release date from November 2018 and I finally got my S1s in June of 2020. I foolishly backed the C1 and its was taking too long so they let me put my money towards an S1 Pro which mysteriously appeared out of nowhere after the C1 was promoted and not ready for sale yet. I just backed the dual kit and added the new tank, leg, and single handle. I'm hoping it takes a lot less than 20 months before I see it.

I don't know how we got so fortunate :) Wow, that's a long delivery time. How was the communication from them? Let's hope the p1's will get to you faster, otherwise you'll have to borrow ours :)

@@DIVEindotcom During that whole wait time, they weren't really good at providing real regular updates on what was going on and SO many backers were expressing their worries that it was all a scam and many asked for their money back (I don't think they ever got it). There was always some reason things were being delayed. I originally said, "If I get these, never again will I back a project." When the C1 crowdfund came out, I foolishly thought that maybe they got their act together but when it was taking too long, suddenly the S1 Pro came out seemingly from nowhere so I was able to transfer my pledge to get one of those. It was still a really long time before the C1 came out after I got my S1 Pro. Cheers

the problem with Lefeet S1 Pro is the underwater weight is quite heavy, most DPV even very heavy on land, has air pocket compartment that will become very light underwater, but I tried to have 2 S1 Pro underwater, found too heavy to use for long time. what about the underwater weight of the P1?

Yes, that's true. It's not heavy but still negative buoyant in the water. The P1 is a bit more than the S1 Pro. DPVs used for longer underwater explorations are, of course, neutrally buoyant. They are used for different purposes, have a completely different price point, and can't really be compared to any of the underwater scooters. For the p1 you can get a buoyancy attachment to add on the outside, this will help the issue a bit.
