Almost 200€ for That??? No thank you! 😂 she should put at least all full sizes, or make a 24-25 day advent calendar with mostly minis for that price. Then I could understand it. I know CT is considered “luxury” makeup, but we all know that each product does not really cost nearly even close to those prices she asks for, and we also know that she can afford to make a better advent calendar. I do love the look of the box, but not nearly enough to pay that much for it 😅

For the craftmanship (I'm assuming the box is made in Europe), I understand the price. Ethically made things cost more. I also think mini's are a great way to be introduced to a brand, if you're gifting this to someone. A mini is a perfect temporary commitment. I am CRAZY for the mini lipsticks 😂 They should be made available on the website. For every shade! 🤩 I can just imagine this box on my vanity. Adding my daily makeup in there. The top that comes off is also a great touch. I do find it pricey yes, but I like the products in there. Thank you Charlotte, for the review!

I just got it! I wish there were more doors but I am still really excited for this. I admit I skipped over when you started opening it- I want to be surprised. I do know it has a mix of full size and travel which is perfect for me since I travel a lot and purchase her travel sizes all the time for my trips. Like you said, it is gorgeous in person and very well made, everything is sturdy and feels a bit heavy. I like that it is designed to keep- many beauty advents calendars feel a little cheap go straight to the trash.

I’ve never bought a Beauty Advent Calender before and I haven’t bought any CT in a couple of years so this appeals to me. I think the mini eyeliner and lipliner and mascara are ideal as they will last as long as full size would anyway. I have always wanted to try these berry products and I only have the setting spray and my original Pillow Talk lipstick and liner which were finished up years ago. I’ve never tried any skincare either.

The advent calendar is pretty, but I would be more tempted by it if it came in pink - or white and gold - instead of red (but that’s my own personal aesthetic). If I’m going to pay that much and get mostly deluxe minis, then the true value for me would come in how I repurpose it afterwards. I also like the idea of having maybe two advent calendars: one that was cheaper with only the 12 doors, and another that was bigger, with 24 or 25 doors and had more deluxe additions (like the hinged top and mirror). That way more people could participate in & have fun with the advent calendars, depending on our budgets and interests.

I want it every year. I’ve never bought it because you know what’s going to be in it before hand so it’s never a surprise. I think that if someone bought it for me then I’d be really pleased with it. Like you say the minis are always good and if there are ride or die products in there that you love it saves you having to rebuy them for a while(so you can spend that money on a new release) but I wouldn’t buy it for myself. I’d love to see 25 doors. Is also like to see more of a discount. If it was more like the mystery boxes or back way back when then it would be a no brainer.😊

10 out of 10 for the box - STUNNING, but for £170 I would have expected more content. I'm sure the craftsmanship of the box is what has bumped the price up but to be honest, if you're the sort of person who invests in luxury make-up, you've probably got a very nice jewellery box on your dressing table already. I don't mind travel sizes on lipsticks and pencils because of how long they last but I think it would be nicer if they had added a pot eyeshadow or chameleon eye stick. It would make it feel more complete. I haven't tried any of the items outside the mascara which I really liked but I'd really want an eye shadow w my calendar. Only one item but I think it would make quite a difference.

I know that you are a CT superfan, but this is a terrible calendar. Having watched Advent Calendar unboxings for a few years, I have noticed that the CT trend is for the product sizes to get smaller every year. And now no palette either. Also, several of the mixed brand calendars have the Pinkgasm light wand - I cynically suspect that it hasn't been a big seller.

I bought one CT Advent Calendar 2 or maybe 3 years ago, I loved the chest, but even then I didn’t feel that all the items combined worth the price that I paid, but for a first time was ok. After that, every year I look forward to the release of the Advent Calendar to see if it picks my interest, but every year I feel less attracted to it, this year had only 2 lip products and 1 beauty wand as full sizes? And everything else is tiny, I understand that the price stated is correct, but to me it is not worth $220. At least years before we will find a shadow quad or something similar. I got it last year and it was rubbish. They have a nerve charging that much for travel items and the clear lip balm was in it last year and dried out my lips after one use. The handles were plasticky cheap feeling tat (one snapped off) and that looks the same. They also didn’t listen to some content creators honest reviews last year disliking travel sizes and not including an eyeshadow palette in the top of box. Overall I wouldn’t pay more than £50 for that personally. I used to like Charlotte Tilbury eyeshadow but prefer others. I also hate their annoying adverts and stopped subscribing to their emails as I don’t like being called darling as it’s so fake.

For me, this is totally not worth the price tag, despite the beautiful packaging, which is probably what customers are paying for over the products inside. It would make sense to make items like eye liners, mascaras and lip products full sizes since it would still keep the weight of the advent calendar to a minimum but getting a travel sized lip liner would irritate me after paying that much.

I own just about everything in there, so it's a pass for me. I do love Charlotte Tilbury's products so much, as I have very dry, sensitive skin and everything works so well for me. Charlotte Tilbury (and Natasha Denona) seems to get us women of a certain age as far as her offerings from skincare to makeup. My skin is hydrated and glowing. At age 55, that is a wonderful thing.
