Pro Puppeteer Tip: Try to only talk with the puppet using your thumb to drop the lower jaw down. Using your fingers to open the top of the mouth will look a bit unnatural, even though it's everyone's first instinct. Moving the top part of the jaw is only good when you're going for big laughs or really big sounds. He looks amazing! Can't wait to see it all in action

Hiring someone in to do the puppet work would be a great idea - guaranteed there will be puppetry groups in your city, and for a fun unusual project like this they'll almost certainly be happy to do it for a good price. Seeing a pro work the puppet makes a huge difference in making puppet use fun instead of bleak.
