I can't wait to see you lay a tree down with that saw..... people pay attention to his movements and how he holds the saw close.... it helps so much.... I've went from my whole upper body hurting when I run a saw to running it no problems. Buckin thank you so much for your knowledge. 🙏

The 572EX in now my primary falling saw for 3 reasons. 1 The anti vibrating bushings really make a difference. 2 That balance with the power head & bar. 3 The power to weight ratio.. There is plenty of power for its weight. Thanks for reviewing this saw, great insight.

Nice saw, Buckin'! ❤ Nice story about the preference: when I was doing my certification the instructor asked just before we were heading out if anyone had a true preference for a brand. They had Husky and Stihl and there was 1 guy who said he would only run a Stihl powersaw. The instructor replied: "Great, here's a Husqvarna for you!" The guy was somehow dissapointed, but ran the saw all day long and when the instructor asked him at the end of the day if it was really that bad he could only say no. He even got to like the saw he was running, though I forgot what type it was. The point the instructor was trying to make is that there are no bad saws comming from both companies. Yes, there are differences in where to apply a saw and someone can simply have a good 'feel' using a certain brand, but there are no bad saws. At least not in the professional saws, consumer saws... well, that's something else.

I know what you mean Buckin' I've ran a lot of Stihl over the years and they are great saws but there's nothing like running a sharp Husky. My main saws are a 346 xp G, 562 xp and a 572 xp G and I love them all. I own a small logging and firewood business and are running them a lot and fairly hard and they just keep going. I've had my 572XP for a few years now and love it. Can be a bit heavy, been running the regular husky 28" bar and looking to put a light weight 24" on soon. Everything is so well thought out on the husky XP's - the captive fuel and oil caps, the choke, ergononics and anti-vibe system and starting procedure. Those west coast bars are tempting! That saw really gets a new life after it's broken after a few tanks.
@darktimber117

I do quite like how the newer huskies have the forwarded handle on the full wrap. It took half a day of falling to get used to it, but i prefer it now. The length of the power head was also a little strange at first. The distance from the top handle to the trigger is noteably farther apart, seems insignificant but it is a weird sensation to get used to when you've spent years with your hands closer together. Another wierd thing to get used to is the anti-vibe. The engine definitely jiggles and moves around a ton more than the 372, but man it makes the difference after 10 hours in the wood.

I have the exact same saw. I love it. I did not always love it, I started to hate it. I do a lot of bucking full sized trees, one right after the other. After my saw would get hot and I turned it off I could not restart it. It would not prime and some times the fuel would boil inside the fuel tank. Now I just prime it before shutting it off. Sometimes I prime it until it dies and now its starts every time even when it is hot. That is no problem for me. I have a 28" on it now but I bought a 32" for limbing because I have some back issues and the longer bar allows me to stand upright. This is the best saw I have ever used and I am 59 and started cutting when I was 16. The heated grip is great if you cut a lot in the severe cold. PEACE.

This 572 is totally redesigned, bore went from 50mm to 48mm, stroke went from 36mm to 39mm and they put the crank bearings from the 385/390 in these new saws. Not sure if you know, this saw replaced the 576, its got more hp and torque over the 576.

I've had my 572XP for 2 years now. It actually does the work of three 455 Rancher. I do also have a 455 Rancher and it was the primary saw that did most of the felling and bucking between my dads CS590 and my uncle's 455 Rancher. Which was about 65% of the work. My 572 now does 85% of the work between 3 saws. I am looking into getting a Husqvarna 585 but installing the piston and cylinder form the 592XP. Hoep to see more of the 572XP RIPSAW. Husky vs Stihl is one of those things. I can only comment that here in Australia, we have Stihl shops and there are Husky dealers - no Husky shops. When I bought my Stihl, the shop had everything I wanted to change on the shelf and we did a this-for-that swapsies, crediting back the stock gear at parts prices and adding the extras as we went. I left within the hour with a new, genuine saw, built and demonstrated. Done. Go to a Husky dealer and you buy the whole stock saw, then they order the part you want to change. There mightn't be much between the saws in terms of "performance", but the parts and support is what does it for me. Let's get back to the video 🤙

As I mentioned before I still use my 80's Homelite SuperXL and I love it, my backup bday present MS250 is still in the box. Lately I been cutting with my 3.5' MADE IN 🇺🇸 crosscut manual saw and I make do. Its because I'm paying $8.50 a gallon for fuel soo... all good im gaining more muscle and chopping wood is my thing. Woodstoves are a must have here and I love my crosscut manual saw also giving my Homelite a break, most people complain about the weight and my direct answer is "My saw is not for everyone." Cheers!

I have six chainsaws and I cut firewood from around my property to heat my home. I just picked up the 592xp, it's as little bit bigger and stronger than the one you have but not by much. I have to say it's the most dangerous saw I've ever used. I was doing the same thing, trying to cut 'smaller' logs using the tip with my foot on the log. I found it works better if you get down low and bring the log right up to the engine right by the teeth, much safer that way. Have fun and be careful!

I haven't cut wood in 20 years, last log was around a 36" foot fir, firewood, in the snow, bush.. I miss it a LOT! windfall, fell across an access road and it was cut and shoved off to the side, I got it out of the way and opened up the road more, got a few very nice chopping blocks for my efforts too, my little McCullough chain saw with a 32" blade, lol.. made quick work out of it tho, about 18 feet of it in a few hours, chopped and stacked in the truck, cord n half, old first growth burned so nice got me n' my dad thru a few winters in the cook stove .. miss it, dunno where any of my cut gear is? axes, had 10 or so, chain saws, sharpeners, wedges, everything, dunno what happened to any of it? pretty sure it all got jacked and left here and there, borrowed never returned, the saw it just ended up missing.. I believe the axes or most are at my cousins or buddies house? hale I dunno

I bought the 572xp about 8 months ago and it is by far my favorite of all I've owned, borrowed or ran. Next is the 550xp mk ii, then maybe the 592.

Hey buddy- in a previous video you showed how the new 572xp does not like to lie on its side (for fueling), I think there’s an easy fix for that. All you need to do is change the center of gravity. Not by adding weight, but by moving the pivot point about half an inch toward the heavy side. I’ll try to put a video together on this 👍

I’ve been eying a 572xp for a couple years now. My go to is a 550xp and that does 90% of what I need. But man the seventy two would be nice for the bigger stuff every now and then. I don’t saw enough to really need it… but… love the Chanel

Thank you for making these videos billy, your inspirational, your positive just an A+ human being! I was in a dark place with depression after a serious snowmobile accident and one day god led me to one of your videos on axes and I said to myself "huh i have a old axe from my pépé I should learn how to sharpen it instead of using cheap ones. which I found out was made in my home town between 100- 150 years ago(the years they were open). That video started my love for axes and your channel!! I proceeded to watch EVERY SINGLE video you made including your shorts lol your positive, respectful attitude helped me change my life around, THANK YOU!! Keep on BUCKIN!
