Hi! After one year, do you still appreciate the machine as much as before? I need to buy a new machine and this one looks very competent and strong to me. Do you still like it? I think I would...

I got one for Christmas and it's EPIC! I've done choux pastry, patisserie cream and cream Bavaria. Took the whole thing in it's stride. I'm going to try a black forest gateau next week.....

Thanks for a great review. I’d love to see how it tempers chocolate, makes and proves bread dough & also, what is the smallest amount of egg whites it can successfully whip to a stiff peak peak.

Regarding the 110 volt power supply. Do use the same type that they use on building sites with the yellow 110 volts, i would think that a 6 KVA one would do the job.

Thanks for this review, it's been so helpful. I was a celebration cake maker for years. I love that you did the lemon curd, I made so much of that over the years! I was looking at the pasta roller attachment for my major and came across this machine and your video. Looks like it'll be an expensive discovery!?
@MrBakersCakeSchool3 жыл бұрын
Eeeeek... sorry! 🙈😂 It is a beauty though! I can also highly recommend the pasta roller too! I use it all the time for pasta AND for flower paste! 🙌🏼

Hi! I’ve been looking for your follow up video you mentioned about things you wanted to demo with the patisserie XL; temperature, melting chocolate, etc.; but I can’t find it! 😞 If you haven’t done it yet would you puh-lease be able to ASAP?! Is it possible to temper Chocolate using it? Have you used it yet for Swiss meringue bc; how did it turn out?! What are the temperatures for each number? (You mentioned about intending to use a thermal gun to check it.) I would REEEAALLY appreciate it if you could do this follow up video if you haven’t already! 🤗😘 Also.... Given that you do so much for/with Kenwood, do you think there’s any chance of asking them for a discount code? From the comments many people BECAUSE they’ve seen your video, are interested in getting one? (I’m sure there are many more too, who just haven’t commented?) Thank you honey and I LOVED this video; I’ve watched it at least 4 times! 🙈🤣😘 xx
@MrBakersCakeSchool3 жыл бұрын
Thank you for watching, and for prodding me to film the follow-up video. I still haven’t done it yet, I must confess. They have since sent me the pink Pastels kMix and it somewhat distracted my attentions… 🙈 I’m a bit poorly at the moment but I will definitely try and get it done in the next few weeks. I’ll also ask again about a discount code, but I know quite a few people have been sharing affiliate links on Instagram if you keep an eye on the Kenwood account’s stories… x

Oooh I’m in love 😍, will need to keep saving my pennies until I can afford one!! Would love to see Swiss buttercream and an attempt at chocolate ganache in a future video!! Love the double guard feature, I use my Nan’s 45 year old Kenwood Chef, and trying to clean the underside of the arm is a chore!!! Icing sugar and cocoa powder get right inside the grooves, takes ages with a toothbrush to get it out again!!! Looks like a great product for those who regularly use a stand mixer!

Nice presentation, thanks. It would be nice if we will eventually get these mixers in North America, but I have my doubts. KitchenAid rules the market here, although the Titaniums are still available online (which will likely be my next mixer, to replace a KA from the 1980s.) Your lemon curd looks delicious!

Hi, I'm really lookig forward to buying this mixer, but I can not find some specifications. Do you maybe know what is the highest temperature that warm bowl can produce? And do you think that this mixer is worth 700£, if so, would you recomend buying it to a hobby baker? Thank you for the answer, cool video tho:)

I think you have sealed in my mind that this is the stand mixer need. Just curious, you were touching the bowl a lot, does the bowl itself not get real hot or is it your chef hands?
@MrBakersCakeSchool3 жыл бұрын
It gets warm, but not hot hot. Plus the heating element is at the base. I keep meaning to use a infrared thermometer to check what temperature each of the heat settings is. I’ll have to give it a go and post an update.
