I actually have the old version. I remember putting it on my birthday wishlist because it was heavily discounted - cost about 130 usd or something like that. I ended up getting TWO for my 18th birthday because two groups of friends got together and bought it for me haha! The shape of the bristles portion is very different on mine and it came in one piece !

I wish my original had the nimbus logo engraved like this new model. Mine is just painted on and it doesn't look nearly as beautiful in my opinion! Welcome to the nimbus 2000 club! The only differences between the new and original is the original came as one solid piece and the nimbus 2000 logo was painted on. The numbered plate was silver and it didn't have the number on the broom. Im tempted to buy this new edition but I only paid £99 of Amazon so I can't justify paying 3x times more for the new edition.

L brackets. You can actually get some really beautiful shelf brackets and just not set a shelf on them, just set the broom on them. Or hooks that hook around the kick plate that will allow it to hang vertically. Or just a wide shelf.
