I didn't have a problem with it but when I've had issues with similar products or even with my Hydroflasks, it is pretty simple to find a rubber gasket that fits. I did not have that problem with the Patriot pure however, but if you were using it all the time in dry and arid conditions, any rubber seal will dry out and crack eventually.

@@DanWeecks Thanks for the feedback! Mine literally leaked first day out of the box. I washed the cooler, latched the lid and shook it around to get a good rinse inside, and got drenched. I’m thinking I got one that may have been a return as it had debris and dead bugs in it, so who knows where it sat and for how long. The seal isn’t dried out at all. The 4P customer service gal was stumped… I sent her a video of it leaking when it was tipped and she still had no idea how to solve this problem. I honestly have had the worst luck with 4P. I also thought as you mentioned that it would be easier to just go buy a new seal myself. Other than that, it’s a very solid piece of survival equipment! Thanks again! 🌼Lily🌼
