The movement is brilliant, but it should be regulated. There is no point in paying that money when you can get a Swiss watch. Great video

What do you mean by "should be regulated"? This watch is regulated. Are you trying to mean "Adjusted". Regulated and Adjusted are two different things in Horology. Regulating is moving the regulator pointer to fast or slow so you elongate or shorten the hairspring, adjusting the rate. A watch may run at different rates in different positions, and that is a simple procedure. Adjusting a watch involves procedures that include ensuring the balance wheel is ‘balanced’ (poised), reshaping the hairspring (Breguet Coil), shaping the balance pivots, and changing how the hairspring is attached to the balance wheel, and several others. The three critical adjustments are for position, temperature (the ability to keep good time over a range of different temperatures), and isochronism (the ability to keep an even rate over the life of one spring wind, typically 24 hours). Adjustment is the basis for Chronometer Certification, while regulation is not, but a well adjusted watch will normally be regulated, but the opposite is not true.

Its regulated. Seiko doesnt want people sending in their watch if its losing time, thinking warranty is covering it. They put that to cover their butts. Watches over time lose or gain time, and seiko makes it so sinple to regulate the watch, by turning one screw 😑. Seikos in-house movements are actually incredible and swiss, own cosc certifications, and they wont let japsnese seiko use their cosc certification program because seiko would blow them out of the water.
