Edit: removed clip with Creep (acoustic) by Radiohead to avoid copyright issues. For anyone wondering, it sounded great!

we have this unit as well, do a couple things and you'll be even happier with this, swap out the needle for a diamond one and connect them to a nice pair of powered speakers, I have mine connect to the Edifier RT 1700 and it sounds AMAZING. Enjoy these is like piece of decorative furniture, it's so gorgous.

the style was one of the main reasons i bought it for sure! and i definitely plan on swapping the needle like you said. any recommendations on where to get a diamond one?

@@FoggyTrain for sure ! Also it will be great if you do another video testing the cassette player 😬❤️

@@weirrddo sorry just seeing this reply now! and i would but sadly i dont own any cassettes😭 i might be able to borrow one from my grandparents. i believe they have an old Hank Williams one that I was interested but had no way to listen to it until now, so if i can get my hands on that I can try! Currently worried though because I have to be careful with copyright when playing audio as I recently has a video taken down due to copyright music so I would like to use that as little as possible sadly

Can you share the info for the diamond needle, please
@FoggyTrain2 ай бұрын
i’m actually using the needle it came with still! I tried looking up diamond needles a while back and resolved to just use the needle that came with the player!

I just bought same player. The info on the Victrola site recommends not switching needles (stylus). It could damage the connection(???). Hopefully my 50 something yr old lps and 45's will enjoy the set up. Happy listening!

@@arleneparis3954 yep and the one that came with it has been working perfectly fine for me so far! happy listening to you too!

Young men find yourself part-time work and safe some money and then buy proper turntable, you'll destroy your LP records with that rubbish. It's a crime what you doing. Good luck!

oh that's such bs, they dont ruin your records, that myth has been debunked, vinyl is made to handle well over the 5g's of tracking force. Unless you play the same record 8 hours a day , every day for 5 years , you'll be fine. What kind of cartridge do you think the majority of the record players used back in the 70's and 80's during the hey day of vinyl, yup that's right ceramic cartridges. So all those old vinyls you buy that you think sound so wonderful, I gurantee the vast majority of them were played on ceramic cartridges.
