I've had the Ti Arto for 8 months and am in love with it. Never have I had a pen with such perfect balance - my favorite way to write with it is posted....I have been fascinated by the click and also the Ultra....hmmmm. Not surprised by the soft tones of the click mechanism....I am surprised it only takes 100 refills....the Arto is supposed to take ? 900 gel or ballpoint or rollerball....delighted to hear their work is consistent. Nice review

Solution for pen wiggle: If your pen wiggles at the rubber rings, and the beginning of the tip ( this could be because you are using a longer refil, at least I do) I suggest you putting some basic cello tape around the rubber rings. Nothing fancy, just some tape. This fixes the pen wiggle, and it's a much more substainable solution than shoving the extra rubber rings you get down the tip...trust me. Also, it doesn't make any crinkling sound, like I though it would. Remember, the wiggle migth be the ink cartridge inside. TO SUM UP: Pen wiggles, put cello tape around the end of the barrel, migth take two layers. It's going to be difficult to screw in, but that's good. I hope I helped.

Nice EDC pen. I considered getting this one when I was looking for a pen that would take a Pilot G2 refill. I ended up going with a Machine Era Markup but this is a great option if you need to be able to use different types of refills or if you don't know which refill will be your favorite. The stone washed titanium is a nice look.

Thanks! I’m partial to the Pilot Precise (aka Hi-Tec) refill myself but my work provides pens and refills of various kinds. So now I can try things out and take this pen anywhere which I love. The stonewashed finish looks great even though I’ve already put wear on the clip 😅 I’ll make a video about that eventually

Sweet pen man. Currently getting myself edc gear. Just got in an olight i5t and this thing is awesome.

Thanks! Olight is a solid brand 👍 it’s nice to have good tools on you

For more precision you should adjust the spring according to the refill. The spring has a wider end and a narrow end. For smaller refills such as Parker, the narrow end fits next to the pen. For longer refills such as Pilot G2, the wider end goes against the pen.

I’ll have to keep that in mind! Thanks

Does this also have the collet system like Pocket Pro that grab the tip to avoid the tip wiggle as well?
@inkiron39073 жыл бұрын
Yes it does have a collet to help with tip wiggle

does the end peace stay locked or is it free to twist in the pocket?
@inkiron39074 жыл бұрын
It stays in place using a small cutout in the barrel where the clip sits
@nautzero3 жыл бұрын
Does the Grip lock or is it free to unscrew itself?
@inkiron39073 жыл бұрын
It is free to unscrew, but I have never had it come off that way, even when kept in my pants pocket

Damn Joe - watching your channel is gonna get expensive for me... ;-)

Ink&Iron I’m a pen guy; but was completely oblivious. No longer, thanks to you and I&I! These will step down the Grimsmo Saga for me... even though the engineering and fidgetry are both stellar...

Big I has coupons and free shipping, typically that pen sells used for nearly the same price new. Not worth buying used IMHO.

I didn’t sign up for emails or coupons 😅 missed opportunity. I’ll remember next time. Thanks for the tip

Someone needs to explain me why would anyone want a click pen with suchba disgusting and feeble click... What's the point of a click pen that does not click?!?! Thanks for the video tho, I needes to figure out how anemic was the click in that pen, def not worth 90$ for me... Any suggestion for a brass, ballpoint, clicky pen with a clip and that actually does click? So far I am looking at the inventery one but I don't really like the inner plastic plounger that it uses, or the kaweco special brass ballpoint, but I really don't like Kaweco slip on clips and I can't find any info on the inner mechanisms and what they are made of...

The tactile feeling of the click is nice on this pen, it’s just quiet. Obviously, it’s not for everyone 😆 As for a robust, clicky pen from a reputable maker I would suggest Karas Pen Company. They make several clicking designs as well as fountain pens, all machined in the USA
@MrSwosh893 жыл бұрын
@@inkiron3907 I knowwww but none of them click, not karas, machine era, tactile turn...For me the click is fundamental yet aside 1 from Kaweco and one from Inventery I couldn't find any 😭 *Correction* There is the tuff writer or something that is a clicky pen, that appears to actually click, sadly tho i find it hideus at best... 😭😭😭😭😭😭
