Definitely not something you NEED, but a cool advancement in technology nonetheless. I think for me personally, I'd rather stick to just looking at the dash instead of using smart glasses. However, if I get the chance to try them, I'd definitely give them a shot.

Any manufacturer for Helmets need to integrate this technology into their Helmet Visors. Wearing glasses under a helmet can be extremely uncomfortable for most riders. II would definitely purchase this technology if it was integrated into a helmet visor.

If you know your bike well enough - what you should totally do - you will know your speed by the sound of your bike without looking at the speedo. And if anyone starts to come with the excuses - "you might not riding enough you couldn't get to know that well" or "it's not obvious because you wear hearing protection" - well, you would be reckless to ride your bike at higher speeds, and the last thing you would need is an extra distraction.

It’s cool but better if its able to pick up dangerous objects and debris in road to keep you safe using bluetooth with cameras. Im sure that will happen soon as some electric bikes have that type of feature . I had it in my m4 and loved it didn’t distract me as i used it as a convenience. Good review 👍🏼

Very nice with a well thought out design and case. Could you see if BMW could provide a video that shows you what the display looks like while riding? Also, as others have mentioned, it would be nice to have indicators for approaching objects in the road or vehicles approaching you from your blindspots. Link to the bike and a rear camera? 650!!!!😎

Hey.... No need to focus at all. The images simply 'float' in your vision. It's not distracting at all and super cool!

Good initial review. You mentioned that the HUD glasses moved a lot when you were going fast on the track. I was wondering how much they move when riding on roads that are not very smooth? Can it make it difficult to focus on the image?

Help 😊I went out this morning New Year’s Day. The glasses connected no problem. However, once I put the glasses on with my Schuberth C5 helmet, the data completely disappears. If I take my helmet off, it all comes back again. Is the Schuberth blocking my Bluetooth connection?

I am not convinced. The connected ride Navigator is a worthless device, and these glasses are not very handy if you have the dark glasses on and you enter a tunnel. Apart from that it will be tiresome on your eÿes in the long run. BMW is strong in creating solutions for non existing problems.
