UnBoxing Video and First Impressions of the Umpqua Dreamstream+ Bobbin

I just picked up the Dreamstream+ Bobbin from J. Stockard and wanted to share with you my first impressions.
For the price, its a pretty good bobbin. I really like the steel tube for strength and durability. The grip on the bobbin head is also very nice and feels comfortable. I love that you can adjust the arms for tension, but out of the package the tension was near perfect. I was worried about the bobbin arms being circular that the thread spool would fall out, but it didn't and felt nice.
The only con or negative thing that I found is that the spool holders being circular make it a little bit wider than most bobbins I have used. It might be something that I will need to get used to, but not something that will deter me from buying another.
These are my initial impressions and I continue to use the bobbin and will update as I use it. If you have used this bobbin and have impressions or comments regarding it, leave them below.

Thanks for the review. I got the J Stockard catalog and the Dream Stream+ line caught my eye. That bobbin in particular or the price point.

yeah a few of these tools caught my eye. Hopefully i can order some more next month.

I ended up getting one of those a bit ago. I like it better for size 8 hooks and larger. Like you said, a longer tube would make it better for the smaller hooks. Overall, I do like it. And it’s priced right.
