I used this gun as a bailout last week when my Italco Shine malfunctioned 1/2 between painting my truck. Fresh out of the box, it worked great!! Mine has the 1.3 tip. Sprayed both base and clear. Definitely worth the money!

Not sure why, but this gun is almost impossible to find in-stock. I just ordered one a couple days ago and it hasn't shipped yet. I have a feeling the vendor will be contacting me to tell me they don't have it. Summit Racing sells it, but not in-stock. The HVLP and LVLP versions seem to be readily available.

Hey brother, What did you ultimately think of that Restoration Shop paint from your first video? I'm planning to spray a 98 Wrangler and I want to have my trailers match, so not even Maaco is worth it. I also plan to scratch the hell out of it on the trails and beaches of New England. Your channel is the only one that seems to mention that paint by name. I also like your Rustoleum video. It just sucks that Rustoleum does not sell its "Combi-Color line in the US.

@@BigGeorge3397 Non I could ever tell, except in the next video or so, he is spraying a Honda with a white epoxy. I bought mine a year ago off eBay. I went back to look as the gun is in storage, but I paid $67.89 cents with a 1.4 tip. I ordered a needle, tip & air cap with 1.9mm opening. Now it took 5 weeks, I believe Taiwan made but in the set up from my Binks #7, DevilBliss JGA and this gun, first I toss the plastic cup plug as it can block some metallics, back the fluid needle out, pull handle wide open, screw it in until it hits, then go one turn with trigger released. I stay consistent with this on each. Fan adjustment on panel to width on hand, just check with tape & 8” wide, then spray 8” back. Air is set to 28 PSI at gun, so a little higher than 10 PSI all HVLP guns say. Now, it all boils down to speed and over lap. I use the PPS 2.0 cup system but remove the strainer from bottom. I spray at 1 foot per half second so; 1 Mississippi, 2 Mississippi and that’s 4 feet of surface. Over lap is always 75% onto last pass. Dry or dusty streaks show up if too fast or not enough over lap. Knock on wood, I have not had a run yet! Best to be lucky than good! I spray base and HS clear with the 1.4mm tip but epoxy, high build 2k, all with 1.7mm tip. I bought a box of 100 PPS 2.0 cups that hold 600ml each. All I have done the last 3 years were complete from bare metal up. I am doing one more for me, a Chevy C10 with long bed, a 1967. I have a 5.3L Tahoe engine gone trough on stand w/113k miles. Cleaned injectors 3 times with pressure pot & ACDelco X66P (GM Top Engine same), compression test, cylinder leakage, new gaskets, modified oil pump passengers, muscle car type oil pan Taiwan, cam bearings, cam, capture rocker needle bearings and modified PCV system (Filter air in both valve covers and valley 1” copper outlet with drain back holes filled with SSWool and exists the front to under intake. I found valve tip wear on left side, each one. The only possible explanation is this was OEM PCV evacuation side. No more! But, I have been ASE master since 78, but repaired everything with a motor since age 11. This was my 50th year buying SnapOn tools. No more, but I use to have two uncashed checks in my wallet before marriage, no more! I like the PPS 2.0 cup system as you turn upside down, spray and draw all air out. Now fender lips, rockers, door bottoms are sprayed upside down, and no drips on hood when full. I push the paint also. I am 6’3” & have a big wing span, but start at drip edge, go into middle, walk around and pull center spray toward me. Keeping the gun at 90 degrees flat with surface if you develop that habit. Hope that helps!
