I love my vortex amg. Very nice clear scope with lots of good features as well as the build quality is very nice on these scopes. I replaced another highend scope and my groups are tighter and the clarity is crystal clear on these scopes at any magnification.

Hi Piet, thanks for all the cool content. I just received a sms that my license for my Tikka T3X in 6.5 CM is receiving attention at the DFO about 11days ago. I purchased the Zeiss V4 6-24x50. My purpose for this build is to get into both long range hunting and lrp type shooting. Was this a mistake since this is a 2nd focal plane scope? Would you say that i could still manage with this scope? I hope you can get back to me on this, but if you don’t I’ll still love to hear from any of the other people reading these comments?

oo good I would be happy to see it I recently bought the ruger precision rifle in 6.5 creedmor and I'm also thinking of putting a vortex razor amg on it which I would like to use for long range shooting and hunting and do u think the scope well do well for what I would like to do and when u make a long distance video show your ammo and ballistic calculation and then use the clicks on the scope to hit the target and also shoot dongs and groupings at long range thank u

Other than weight, how does it compare against the Razor Gen II ? I have a gen 2 and I love it. I building a 338 Lapua and I need a new scope.

never had a Gen II so cant really say, It has slightly less zoom on it but thats not a deal breaker. I shoot out to 1200m on 14 magnification

Piet skiet, if you don't mind me asking, with the price of a Vortex razor hd amg, why didn't you just buy something like the nightforce Atac-r 5-25x56 ffp in mrad?

Conrad Janse Van Vuuren Hi Conrad, ive been shooting Vortex for a few years and never had any issues, I love the brand and what they stand for. For PRS type shooting, the EBR 7B reticle kicks serious ass too so that also played a role on my decision

Yes it has, I want to redo this vid. Just havnt had the time. I have one in a box, so I should just do one. Im getting one of the new Razors with the new reticle in the next few weeks

What if your target is in 5-7 yards range? Can it still focus with 6x zoom?
