OK, i got it out of the box. How do you hook it up to the computer? THERE IS NO DOCUMENTATION!!!!

I hook it up using USB Type C cable to Macbook.

It does but you have to install the Microsoft NTFS for Mac by Paragon Software (15.10.592) so you can read and write using Macbook Pros.

How do you go about backing up this drive? do you have a second backup options should this drive fail on you? or cloud backup>?

Hello Major, If you want to use the full Hard drive capacity then you have no back up which is the default setting as (JBOD) Mode, however if you want to play it safe you can only use 1 Disc and the second will be used as backup. You need to decide at the beganing of setting your Unit and choose Raid 1. Means for 24TB you will only be using 12TB and the second 12TB will be used as back up. In case one fail the 2nd will be operational.

@@majorsinghtakhar Yes i configured my Cloud Home Duo already as Raid 1 RAID1 (Default Configuration) Using Mirror Mode (RAID1) keeps your data automatically backed up across your two drives. storage space will be limited to half, so even if one drive fails your data will remain safe and can be recovered. Using Full Capacity Mode (JBOD) will give you access to all your Storage Capacity space, but if either drive fails your data will be permanently lost.
