Aloha! In this video we unbox our order from WeeKing Diapers. WeeKing specializes in natural, organic, plastic-free cloth diapers and training pants. Their organic cotton training pants come in small sizes, especially for Montessori toddlers and babies practicing elimination communication. They even offer training pants in sizes 0-3M and 3-6M! We will be trying sizes 6-9M and 9-12M.

Currently, at 4 months old, my baby's waist is 18" (46 cm) measured at the belly button and his tigh is 9.5" (24 cm). He's tall and slender. Both pairs of training pants fit him well. The leg bands are tighter on size 6-9M and the waist band sits much higher on 9-12M. They are trim and great for tummy time, allowing good freedom of movement. 💜 Heidi

The green preflat? I really like it! It's super absorbent for nighttime and nice and soft. It is bulky, but that's okay at night. I guess I should make a follow-up video!

Can you use a diaper band in wool/or cotton instead of a snappi to fasten a flat Diaper or prefold ? Just scared to damage my wool covers with the snappi... In case it gets hooked into the wool . And the wool isn't cheap so i want to be super careful with it. Love your videos and they always brighten my day. -Judith

I personally only use a diaper belt when not using a cover. If you want to use a diaper belt under a cover, look for a very thin one, like the adjustable diaper belts offered by Komfi Baby. Those might work with flats. I have never snagged a wool cover using a Snappi. Stretchy knit covers would be more likely to snag, but it's never happened to me.

Also, do I need to buy the buncha farmers stain stick thing you mention in your videos or should I wait with that?

It's nice to have at least some sort of stain remover stick! I spot clean little dots much more often than I do a full wash.

What do you have to do to a brand new diaper when you receive it? I got a disana pull on wool cover and a babee greens cover with snaps on side. Does it need felting or can I skip that? Sounds so confusing. Lol first time wool mama here. I've got a 20 month old in cloth diapers

I would just wash and lanolize a new wool cover. Some people felt the wet zone of Disana covers, but I don't. This video explains exactly how to wash and lanolize: kzbin.info/www/bejne/q33TiHaZbailn80

@@ECpeesy amazing thank you! Super excited! How many wool covers would you recommend if switching over to exclusively wool? Is it very expensive since wool covers are sized and you have to keep buying new ones every time baby outgrows them

@@nachummoshelemeshko3537 Four to six wool covers is enough to use wool exclusively. Each wool cover can be reused multiple times and hung to air out if damp and then reused. It can be expensive if you buy all new covers made of new wool. You can save money by buying used. There are groups on Facebook like Wool Love. Or buying or making covers made from upcycled wool sweaters. There are some on Etsy.
