According to the camera's shake, after the gimbal is turned on, I can definitely say that this setup is the way too heavy for the gimbal. Do not accept rebuttal. I have owned crane 2 / crane plus/ ronins

That was because I didnt set the gimbal strenght at the beginning as I already said in the video, as straight out of the box is always set on lowest motor strenght which is for really light weight cams.

Hello, I also have that goal with a sony a6500 and a sigma Mc11 and a smallrig 1661 with wooden handle. I would like to make sure that it can be mounted on this cardan, since the camera weighs very little (with the smallrig it makes up for a little the weight I think) and the lens has a lot unbalanced and when moving it back I do not know if the screen would touch the motor. Would there be a possibility to make a video with him? Thanks, the videos are very useful.

Tried thiss with the a6300 even with a small rig cage.. it doesnt have enough counterweight space on the weebill to counter the weight of the 18-35.. but i think if u add weight to the cage of the a6300 it still might work.. But for the gh5 i'm not sure.. coz it might make the camera even higher with a small rig setup making the underslung mode still impossible to achieve?????

Got the webill lab just now. But the cables given in box, doesnt fit into sony MULTI port. What am I missing ? Do you have a video done which shows the sony connecting cable and setup ?

Thanks for the help hoping to see more. This is my first gimble using it with a canon sl2. Was hoping you could do a vid on each of the modes. What is the difference in using different motor strength? Is it just a matter of using more or less battery?

Motor strenght is for different camera weights you are putting onto the gimbal. A big heavy camera need to be stronger motor use to keep it stable and lightweight does not need to be that strong as could add shake because its too strong.

Very appreciate ur channel! Already buy weebill s, still very difficult to balance gh5 with sigma 18-35mm and viltrox speed booster. I have issue when press the record button with cable, sometimes the button didn't work.

Was able to use sling mode with an 6500 + cage + 2, 3/4 screws(to counter balance) and the MC-11 adapter. I am definitely pushing it though LOL. Will have to find another work horse of a lens.

Thanks! Got the same setup. Still not giving up on using undersling mode. The issue is not the total payload but the center of gravity. Have you tried counterweights? The 1/4 thread on the cam could be used for that. Any recommendations on weights? Much appreciated.

Small rig is releasing a plate with counterweight which should work. Otherwise you can use underslung without counterweight will release video how.

Hello, great review. I wanted to ask about the GH5 control cable. When you connect it to the Weebill. Is it possible to change the cameras ISO, shutter speed and aperture via the Weebill gimbal buttons? The manual says that you can press the record button, auto focus, take picture and change the ISO, shutter speed and aperture via the gimbal buttons.

why use a zoom lens that extends and offset balance? On any gimbal that gonna not work great.

Hi, my weebill is not level, but when I go to calibrate in the app it gets stuck at stage 3. Where I have to put the lens to the ground, it just doesn't recognise I'm doing it, so I can't complete the step. Any ideas? I am at a big job today and need to use it! I'm desperate :)

I tried a 16-55 on a Fuji XH1 and its a bit heavy for it but i wonder how much the combo actually weights because the motors are doing amazing with it on aside from the pan axis because i can't get it to balance well overall. It's super small... so it will be hard to consider the Moza Air 2 over this one although i know the moza supports more and will be better for my setup. UGH.

XH1 with kitlens heavy? Dunno what you on about,I have manage to put 5D4 with 24-70mm f2.8 on the Weebill and balanced it, which is a much heavier larger setup. Even GH5 camera body is heavier than the Fuji XH1. And 16-55mm is not a heavy lens at all. Crane M was made for small pocket cams and very lightweight mirrorless. I dunno about the M50 as for obvious reasons I dont own all cameras or lenses.

@@chungdha I know. That's why I went for it with the M50 since it's a small mirrorless, but you reach quickly the payload. Wanted just to know if it was a better idea to switch to the weebil or go for bigger and get the crane 3 and be safe regarding the camera setup.

@@Tvennet M50 with native lenses weebill be fine and especially weebill more made for vloggers who go for smaller setup and wide angles which arent that huge and heavy, but if you go large size lenses as 18-35mm f1.8 and bigger only then go Crane 3.

that lens is smaller than 18-35mm be no issue, anything smaller than sigma 18-35mm f1.8 will work.

Hi I just got the Weebill Lab. Everything works great with my GH5. But when I use the usb cable all the controls work apart from the Record button! Am I missing something? It's the most important button I need!

@@chungdha thanks for replying. When I plug it in the Gh5 comes up with a menu. I tried them all and Tether is the only one that works. I can control aperture, iso etc. But record doesn't record. The middle buttons focuses too. I doubt the button is broken, it seems too unlikely. Yes I am in video mode. It's hard to find any info on it. It's a bit disappointing

Because custom mode of the camera is not 100% same as video mode as custom mode is kinda can be a photo and video mode at the same time so that is why it does not work.

Old version does not have the correct mount to mount on the gimbal as new version mount on the quick release plate. Also I dunno about their release time as I am not working at Zhiyun.

You can use it on this gimbal, just wireless monitor need to use Fuji own app for now as the firmware for it Zhiyun is still working on it.

The problem here is that you didn’t show how you were able to balance all 3 motors. I bet you were not able to do it that’s why you skipped it:) the back would hit the eye piece hence you can’t balance tilt axis with the camera facing up.

All motors are balance you can see it holding position in off state, no need to show you how to balance as I have an entire dedicated Balance tutorial video on this channel already.

I dont a6500, but have a5100 and a7rii, can do a quick test to see if a7rii works.

you need to add a cage as the camera body is too light as with a7rii need cage on it, but also to make the plate to clear the lens.

Can't compare Ronin S and Weebill, weebill is a small gimbal for travelers, easy to pack, support small playload and it's doing that great. The Ronin S is a way bigger and heavier and support more playload, if you want compare it to something wait for the Carne 3 Lab.
