Really bad! The images and explanations are too fast for something so important. There are so many small details and adjustments. I play it over and over again about the pan axis, don't get a **** with my Gimbal, can't use vortex mode.

I recently got a Weebill Lab. After I balance it does not stay in position when motors are off. It tries to go back to balanced as if motor is on. Great video very helpful, thank you.

The difference in size is pretty massive. The crane 2 was something that kind of needs its own bag whereas you can toss the weebill into just about any bag you have. Heck I have coats that have a pocket large enough for it.

Your videos are super sharp. What camera set up do you use to make youtube vids?

I shoot with the Sony A7iii for my main cam and use my A6300 as a B-Cam. I use the Sony 28 f2 and 21mm wide teleconverter, Sony 50 1.8, and Sony 90mm f2.8 Macro on the A7iii (I’m a prime lens kinda guy). I also have the 18-105 F4 lens for use on my a6300 or for flying the A7iii on a gimbal from time to time.

Thank you for this video and I love my Weebill Lab with my Sony a7iii. I am glad someone finally demonstrated how to open the battery door! I figured it out and Zhiyun should improve the instructions included with their products. I love the locking mechanism for each axis. I had the DJI Ronin S and returned I after getting the Weebill Lab. DJI has wonderful videos on how to setup product...Zhiyun education team, please upload this video onto the app video page. I almost returned my Weebill Lab because of the battery door. Zhiyun, Thanks for a small and mighty gimbal for my Sony a7iii. #DrTommyeTechnoNurse

As of right now I don’t think so, but everyone seems to be going nuts over those things. I absolutely love them and would love to buy extra sets. I’ll try to find out if they have plans for it or not and report back.

when you use the gimbal, don't you press the buttons on the handle accidentally ? And can I use this gimbal with my canon 60D and 50mm ? Isn't the camera too heavy ? 'Cause I only see mirrorless camera's on thing gimbal in reviews. I doubt between the weebill lab and the dji ronin S. I'm sorry for my, maybe bad, english. Not a native speaker :-)

You can double press the “LV” button to lock the front panel and triple press it to lock ALL of the buttons on it to prevent these accidents. It’s meant for mirrorless, but can handle some regular sized DSLR and lens combos too.

Does it support the a6500 and sigma 18-35 lens?

It would be cutting it close. The 18-35 is a pretty front heavy and large lens. I have a few lenses like the Sony 90mm macro which is longer and heavier (not factoring in a mount adapter) and that works fine for me. I’ll try to find out and let you know for sure.

My Weebill lab cannot balance horizontal axis! I perfectly balance camera how ever when i turn on the motor the horizontal motor somehow force it to more 90 degree to 87 ish degree making the camera tilted little bit. When i put on the locks horizontal motor to 90 degree the camera is perfectly balanced but when unlock it turns to 87 degree by the force of the motor. It been like since i bought it. Only used once and i noticed after looking at my footage been all tilted. Any help?! Am I doing something wrong?

When using the Weebill, are all axes supposed to be unlocked at all times while shooting, or does this vary by shooting mode? (I'm referring to the red lock switches...does the user have to lock/unlock them based on shooting mode or does the gimbal automatically deactivate the axes/motors it doesn't need depending on the mode?) Sorry for the silly question but I just got the Weebill and it's my first gimbal so I don't want to damage it and the manual was unclear. I'm also receiving "axis lock" error messages with beeping noises. Thanks!

I had that same problem testing things out. The company has told me that the latest version of the firmware should fix the problem. I have been having some small issues upgrading firmware myself, but try that and see if you can get it to work. Otherwise, check back and let me know.

I think consensus is that this and other videos are not helpful to newbies. He does a very good job for those that are experienced with these types of tools but newbies need something that goes much slower, shows what exact knob you are turning, and shows every detail of the balancing process. In other words, Weebill for dummies. HELP!

Hay dude thanks for responding. I’m using the Sony a6500. I’ve changed the USB connection to PC remote and USB LUN to single. I’m able to use the app no problem. Image transfer works, even the shutter button works with my phone but not the record button. It’s important to me because you know the a6500 récord button is so small. Any information you can help me with would be very much appreciated. I really want that function to work. It would make the weebill lab perfect for me.

@@ivanvargas5295 That's definitely a little bit strange. Check the menu settings (briefcase icon, on page 3) and ensure that "Remote Ctrl" is set to On. Under page 4, Try setting USB LUN Setting to Multi if it isn't.

Infosmercial still didn't work. I played with all the remote settings. This is actually my second weebill lab. The tripod screw got stripped so I had to return it for a new one. The firmware is updated wifi and Bluetooth are connected but I still can't press record on the app or the gimbal. So frustrating. If you have anymore info you can share with to try please let me know. Being able to use that function would make things so much easier. Thank you for trying to help me out.

@@ivanvargas5295 hey, not sure if this is helpful as you're on Sony. I use a gh5 and when I plugged into the gimbal everything worked apart from the record button. I could change iso, aperture etc. But I shoot in custom modes, and eventually found out I had to be in the standard video mode for record to work. It's annoying as I don't use that mode. But maybe something similar on your Sony? Try every mode!

Did you have any trouble with the vortex mode. Mine dont want to do a whole 360, more like a 180 like if it had too much weight or something. But my whole setup is like 2 pounds only.

Vortex mode can be finicky. I did have that issue at first, but then I got hyper obsessive about PERFECTLY balancing the gimbal. Like really really really small adjustments here and there. Also, try other motor strengths, even lower ones to see if it helps. Sometimes too high and it can cause wobble issues.

Infosmercial Seems balanced to me. How do i make sure it rightly balanced?

Try putting the motors on standby, then hold it in sling mode. Position the camera so it’s upright. Try moving it light little bits and see if the weight of it is shifting left to right along the pan axis. If it is, try making incredibly small adjustments to counterbalance it. I had this exact issue and found then when in sling mode, it was every so slightly off balance. This fixed it for me.
