Saban Tander I personally hated mine even though it works well. I even upgraded to the nicer model while it does work really well as an upgrade from phone speakers. I’m not a fan of the sound quality enough to justify it being an only source of music. But for 20 bucks that thing is the business. Nothing beats it for the price. (Even the nicer one)

I have the Anker Soundcore Select. The first time I used it, it practically blew me away. I swear by this speaker. It's heavy, solid, yet compact. Is definitely metal construction. I love the fact that it is a 3-way speaker and puts out such dynamic sound.

I picked one up myself during the Amazon Prime day sale. I love it! The battery life really is amazing and I just cannot complain. I only wish that it could link up with other speakers to do stereo sound but I think that's mostly a Bose thing. And again, for the price, that's fine.

Mine still works and the sound is still clear, sharp and the bass is still strong and tight. I have it on construction sites most days, also have it in the bathroom when I'm showering, and it still looks good. The battery still lasts all day, in fact I can't remember it ever running out. Very good value for money and I bought mine for £30 and I am very happy with it so far, no issues and very clear sound. Low end is also very good for its size. Honestly I'm glad Lew did a video on this because it really is a brilliant speaker for the price!

If you start hearing a cracking sound with the speaker chances are the speaker has developed a few tear's along is flexible foam diaphragm. You need to use a butter knife to remove the frontal metal mesh front. no worries its not screwed in , its glued in, and you wont damage it if you take your time. But it does take some effort to pry off. then all you have to do is press down on the speakers to find the tear's. then simply apply some glue to those areas. I suggest glues that dont get rock hard, but rather those like gorilla glue, wood glue, or 3m spray adhesive. Those glues cure with elasticity properties. so they will work best with the vibration of a speaker. apply it with a brush and make sure the glue covers the splits, wait for it to dry then put the mesh cover back on. the speaker should no longer make noises, if the holes are properly sealed. btw, if only one speaker sees tearing then also apply glue to the other speaker as well. make sure not to stress test the tears with loud music until you believe the glue to be fully cured.

Been using that for years. I'm a mobile massage therapist and having the right Ambient music is really helpful. Placing it in the right part of the room to boost the acoustic value helps too. Put it on the floor in the corner of the room and the walls and floor amplify the sound. Wonderful piece of kit.

agree 100%. a friend told me to pick one up about a year ago to use with home projects in and outdoors. connects every time, I have literally run it for hours and hours without having to charge it. I've had this thing for at least three years, and have NO complaints. 1) Swear to God, it seems to have about a week or two worth of juice in it when fully charged. At least, it can be ON for about 12 hours a day for that long, if it's not actually playing anything constantly. I listen to a lot of pods and forget to turn the thing off for hours. I also listen to a pod when i go to sleep and because the phone is still connected, the speaker remains on throughout the night after the pod ends. I can do this for a few weeks before the "battery low" beep. It happens so rarely that I always wonder what it is when I hear it. It's only happened a handful of times in all the years I've had this. 2) This is one of the best gifts I've ever gotten myself. I got another one for my parents and they use it in the home AND with their TV in the RV when they travel so they don't have to crank the TV up. 3) A pro or con is that it's pretty unidirectional. If it is pointed at you, you get the full effect. If you're behind it, the volume is significantly reduced. Again, though, is this a pro or con for you? 4) It's not waterproof but the rubbery encasement leaves you comfortable that as long you don't dunk it in water it will be fine. I'm always reaching for it from the shower to turn it down and those droplets have never been a problem. The rubber adds to your comfort level as far as durability as well. If you need a speaker, I can't imagine a better one at this price point. They DO have one that puts out a lot more watts that costs about 50% more. I've not heard that one but I'm tempted. :)
