My comment was kinda ment as a joke, but there is also beer that tastes like piss in Europe. One brand that I don't really like is Krombacher. Well... It does not taste like complete shit like Budweiser but it tastes just neutral. There isn't anything special about it. The best beer, anywhere in the world, is from small and local breweries that put great time and effort into making their beer. P.S. Where I live, we usually only drink Pilsener, wheat beer or dark beer and no ale or lager so I don't really know what they taste like.

no. The foam keeps the carbonation in the beer, making it stay carbonated for longer. A thicker, better foam is going to keep the beer nice longer than a thin foam that disperses after a few sips.
