Beautiful, I still remember when MARS HOTEL came hot off the press. I wrote a letter to Grateful Dead Records congratulating them on their beautiful new music. The kidz at the store mailed me a bucket of sampler '45s and a bunch of other cool stuff in thanks.....still got 'em!....Always Grateful. What a magical time it is! Happy Birthday PHIL! The thing that struck me right away was the mix. It is beautifully mixed and shows off the talents of all of these fine musicians. All these people were brought together by Phil. Luckily, I've seen most of these iterations of Phil's bands. He is an immense talent and I thank him for all of the great music that he has brought our way. Thank you Phil- and Happy Birthday!

Sooooo nice to hear pedal steel closest I ever got to play along side of one was a close friend was very talented playing telecaster without Parsons White string bender and it was wonderful to hear the tones he coaxed out of it.
