Wilder has no excuses. Mark Breeland tried to train him, Floyd offered to train him as well. He could have hired many HOF trainers, and yet he did none of that. Wilder is to blame for not developing boxing skills. Unc it’s disrespectful to mention Tyson in same topic. Iron Mike was more than a one trick pony.

You could say the same for Roy Jones, who probably at his peak was the greatest athlete in boxing history. But once his athletic ability started to disapate and he always had some bad technique it became more noticeable. Bernard Hopkins was always sound technically and didn't rely on athletic ability so he could still be an effective boxer, in his 40s.

I’ve been a fan of Deontay Wilder since 2012 and have followed his career closely. The one thing I respect about Wilder is that he will absolutely fight anyone who challenges him. Despite him losing 4 out of his last 5 bouts, he’s a true warrior. If Wilder has 3 more top tier fights and wins them, everybody will be back on the Wilder train talking about his great right hand. Ocho tripping Wilder is not one of the greatest heavyweights of all time. He and Usyk are examples of how weak the heavyweight division truly is. All the talent has been at light heavyweight and down since the end of the Holyfield, Tyson, Lewis, & Klitschko era. The simple fact a true cruiser/light heavyweight is undisputed u had wilder as the champion for years with no technique literally one punch man says a lot abt that division. The best divisions over the last 20+ yrs are Middleweight, Welterweight, & lightweight which is another factor UFC has taken over. the heavyweight division carried boxing to the top for over 100 yrs. The Goats of boxing the last 20+ have been Mayweather, Canelo, & PAC man period! No heavyweights Fury great but the competition has been weak & Usyk proved that!

Wilder had amateur experience also. That's how he made the Olympics. Give the man credit. He beat the people in front of him in a time the heavyweight division was trash. AJ was afraid to fight him other than that there weren't too many stars for him to fight. This is annoying listening to Unc talk when he isn't speaking facts.
