He wouldn't be the first teenager or teenage football star to be an asshat though. It's fairly common trait. I wasn't a fan of Rattler at the time, I hated his attitude when he did elite eleven, hated his attitude in the QB1 show. His time at Oklahoma obviously didn't go as planned with Williams taking his job, calling it a toxic situation cause you lost your job is not very mature. I would have steered well clear of him had he stayed with the Sooners and had a decent college career. Is he a clown now though? Who's to say? Thinking you're all that and then basically having it all almost get taken away from you is a real wake up call for some people and they change their ways. Some will just blame everyone else for this misfortune and keep on being dickheads. Maybe he's matured and humbled. A 5th round pick isn't like a massive investment for a kid who was clearly physically talented but just wasn't in the right headspace to succeed.

In QB-1 Spencer was a literally an arrogant high school kid. I've got mad respect for him now in how he handled the Oklahoma situation, and the unmet expectations of the team in South Carolina. Dude put the team on his back, balled out, and modeled what a team-leader should be with zero complaints or finger-pointing. He and Penix Jr. landed in the best spots draft-wise for me because they're going to get an opportunity to develop a la Brady, Rogers, Mahommes, and Love. I can never say Thank You enough to Unc for all that he says. As I said before, I was raised by my Grandfather and Grandmother with the same old fashion hardworking values instilled into me on a daily basis. Every saying Unc says I grew up on and I see the same values instilled into him. To this day, I still yes ma'am and yes sir to people half my age because if I didn't say it growing up, I wouldn't be able to sit down for awhile. Somewhere along the way, society either lost respect for their elders or quit showing it. I mentor a lot of young men and I figure that if they see me saying yes sir to them and yes ma'am to their sisters, while saying it to everyone else also, maybe they'll carry it through life and teach another generation.
