Hi David. Drink a lot in Myth night when I’m there. Very chilled. In your last video you were talking about flight prices. In October British Airways will resume direct flights from Gatwick to Bangkok. Currently cheaper than Thai & EVA and also than most of the Middle East operators with a connection. Hopefully the extra competition will help lower prices generally. I am also one of those who return to the Areca Lodge whenever I’m there. Lovely hotel. Keep up the good work. Love your videos

I see where shooters bar now has a glass frontage where you can see inside. When you couldn’t see inside maybe you opened the door and felt inclined to go in for at least one drink. Now if you walk by and don’t like what you see you won’t go in for that one drink.

That’s one way of looking at it. On the other hand you can see sone nice looking ladies dancing in the podium when passing by which may also attract customers.

It is a good deal and they also do decent food promos. The only down side can be it ties you to a bar for a bit. Other bars like Maggie Mays do a loyalty card which you can use at a few of their chain.

Soi 15 is almost empty. I did it when the roadworks was on and cut out most of it, on Buakhao from the market to 15 it is ok, not busy though. Every week I check out Action Street as I ride past...it is almost deserted 🙏🙏

I really miss the original MiT. All original quirky bars, 20 different music tracks booming out, the crazy flooring. First time I tried black sambuca at the Scandinavian bar near Second Rd end. Anyone help me out with the name? Also, I always thought MiT was a misnomer for the complex. Who remembers above Daokai Bar, the wooden facia was painted, 'Made in Beer'.... 'Bar Group' ???

Hi David. my wife and her friends got an interesting suggestion, but i am unsure if it is good. On me and my wife's vacation to the Philippines (She is Filipino) in October. She and her friends wants us to take 1 week in Bangkok. And then during that week, have 1 party day i Pattaya. I am unsure if it be too much stress and driving. On same time, i think a night there with my wife and her friends, could end up quit badly. (Or very good) But what could we do, i guess come early for lunch, beach, dinner then party. And find night/morning ride back to Bangkok. Is that possible? Perhaps make agreement with a driver in advance?

I wonder what happened there... at 18:36 you see a quite muscular guy in tight tee and shorts walking in the direction of Beach Road, hand in hand with a bargirl in a short red dress- she's pulling him out of the way of your bike. Then when you do your second tour of the street, almost at the end of Soi 6, we see the guy again, walking back into the street with a friend- the girl is around 20 meters behind them, looking a quite forlorn. Ah, the drama!
