I do feel ,him dying at 42 was a release for him. The amount of stress he was under was unbelievable , pressure to keep performing because so many relied on him for a wage. His health was awful mentally and physically. I dont think he could cope to getting older . But his legacy will live forever

I don't know if you are aware that Elvis had an inherited genetic condition A-1 antitrypsin which causes COPD/emphysema & he needed an inhaler to help him breath, yet he managed to belt out those songs to the very end. We saw Elvis on June 17th 1977 the night before my 13th birthday in Springfield, MO. Back then we had no idea how very ill he really was. But when he walked out the flashes from camera bulbs made the place look like heavy strobe lights for about 10 minutes!!! He looked a little heavy but was just as gorgeous as ever!!! His beautiful voice never ever failed him. It was a perfect concert!!! Poor Elvis, it's so sad that he couldn't or wouldn't save himself, he had no idea how loved he really was.😢❤❤

Hard to think that at the time of his death, 8 weeks later, he had 2 months of fecal matter found in his colon, toxicology report stated...I heard that on another channel. My God, I can't imagine how awful he must've felt!
