Am I the only one who like Uncharted 3 more than 2? I don't like the lack of Sully in U2; I liked how the story is more personal for Nate and we get to learn more about his past in U3. Also for some reason Nathan Drake walking across a desert for treasure just seems like the coolest thing I've seen.

UC2 is my favorite, but UC3 was a terrific game...the only tiny bit of play that wasn't very good (in sure most every single person who's played it will agree) is the final boss fight. NTM I do have this super love in my heart for UC1...such an amazing game too!

I feel like people criticised Uncharted 3 for location jumping too much, but if I had to complain about anything in uncharted 2, it was the lack of variety in the chapters, most of them taking place in similar locations.

ahmad al khateeb not really, I wouldn't mind if at the end the story achieved what it was supposed to achieve (explore Nathan and Sully's bond), instead, it had to take it's time explaining the villains and mystery of the atlantis of the sands and jumped around too much, never letting the player feel completely immersed in the story, and by the time the game grabs you as a player ( from the plane crash on) there's only 20% of story left until the end. had they replaced, for example, the cruiseship level (it was good gameplaywise but didn't evolve the plot any further which hurts my immersion in the game) for something relevant to the plot like jump right ahead to the plane crash scene there would've been time for more desert scenes which would make the ending much more climatic (it felt a bit rushed at the end). Just personal opinion on what they could've done to develop a more engaging story. In Uncharted 2, from the moment Drake goes to Nepal, we see everything Drake sees, all while still presenting us a lot of locations. In Uncharted 3, we jump a lot in locations at the beginning (which is fine) and then go to france, and then to syria, and it's only when we get to Yemen that we stick with Drake, but even that is interrupted by the giant unecessary cruiseship level. either that or they could've find a way to make that level more relevant to the story :/ still great, just not as good as 2

Everything you said isn't true. UC team and TLoU team are completely different teams. UC team is most of the original ND developers are still working there, that why they're called Team A. While TLoU team are the new people who work at ND nowadays, and they're called Team B. Anyway UC3 gameplay mechanics is really different than UC2. Like the combat mechanics and parkour mechanics are smoother and better than UC2 in every aspect. Even the story and soundtracks were better than UC2.

My eyes kept widening with each quicktime event and scene. I never played any of the Uncharted games, but I did watch my brother play them. The most iconic part was the plane crashing in the desert.
