this guy has the attitude that all devs should have, he has this childlike excitement when it gets to creating games and helping with the creation of games but at the same time he's a realist and an optimist. Those are probably 3 of the best things a video game developer can be.

Jason denies it up and down but I believe ND did indeed use his likeness, down to the multiple rings on his left hand , which Nathan Drake has as well.

I hope Sony give this guy his own studio or team since he left Naughty Dog in 2004. It would be a great benefit to Playstation for him to work on new projects that aren't along the lines of Uncharted or TLOU, he created some of the best and most iconic Playstation titles/characters ever like Crash Bandicoot & Jak & Daxter, he would be a great asset to be given a fresh start at Sony either continuing on Crash/Jak or making something new entirely.

they could and they should. Sony owe this guy for putting them on the spotlight when Nintendo 64 and Sega Saturn were coming up with great platformers of their own

junkmode they may be want to. but this guy presiding Oculus Rift, he is most likely pretty busy swimming in money right now.
@apictureoffunction4 жыл бұрын
He doesn't want to do that. He's working for Occulus because that's where he WANTS to be. Most likely, he's passionate about VR because he views at as the next stage of the industry he's worked in his entire life. If he wanted to go back to making console games for a big publisher, then he would. It's not like he's some low level white collar employee who has to compete to get the job je wants. He's Jason Rubin, he works exactly where he wants to

Why say 'Uncharted studio' instead of just 'Naughty Dog'? They're easily one of the most famous studios in the world. They are the main studio of the industry leader for 3 of the past 4 console generations, dating back to the mid 90s.
