Uncharted: The Enigma of Penitence dark ride roller coaster, brought to you by Sally Dark Rides and Intamin Amusement Rides - now open at PortAventura World!
Uncharted: The Enigma of Penitence, is a brand-new dark coaster created specifically for PortAventura World’s highly themed Far West land, based on the popular Sony PlayStation “Uncharted” movie and video game series. A high speed Intamin Multi-Dimension coaster has guests accelerating, braking, spinning, and running for their lives as they are chased by Landon Killbride and his evil Henchmen all in the quest for Aztec treasure!
The story goes...
In the 1500’s, Spanish Explorer, Hernan Cortez and his Conquistador army made a deal with the Aztecs that resulted in the transfer of 40,000 pounds of Aztec treasure. Unable to bring it all back to Spain on their ships, the gold and silver was hidden inside a mountain along the California coast and a special mechanical map was created. Due to unforeseen circumstances, the Conquistadores never made the trip back and the loot was never retrieved.
Years later, treasure hunters Nathan Drake, Victor Sullivan, and Chloe Frazer have discovered the maps incredible origin story. Following a series of clues, the Uncharted gang is faced with treacherous terrain, hired mercenaries, booby traps, deadly puzzles, and a weird gas that causes hallucinations. …and they’ve asked us to help!
