Restoran Soon Sing is where I used to go for dinner when I lived in Bandar Kinrara. Lots of food stalls outside at night. Used to go to that Lotus for shopping. Fond memories. There was another restaurant nearby called Tin Tin which had fragrant Hokkien Mee and Mee Yoke, but I think they are not there any longer.

IMHO, Sri Petaling is better.. but they are also 30% more expensive and only available once a week, for only less than one hour!

Tried Wong Ng Kee spicy soup (wu chew tong). Full of msg & not spicy at all. Very loudy recommendation !!!

Different people have different tastes. What I like may not be what you like and vice versa. That’s why many F&B businesses can still flourish because different people have different tastebuds. I don’t like Ah Fatt’s CKT but many people do and he has been in business for donkey years. If it’s truly lousy, then he would have closed shop loooooong loooong time ago. I don’t label his CKT as lousy. It’s just not ngam for me.

Want to see how good is a chef? Ask him to cook ku lu yuk or fried rice. If either of these can be done to perfection, then you will know the chef is good 👍
