I wish there were more places like this around me! I love unclogging drains and stuff too lol. I did it at my university hiking in the woods and found a tree blocking a culvert. TONS of stillwater. Was able to move it, albeit I got a bit muddy, but restored the flow of a creekbed! ❤ Tysm for the vids! I love seeing people doing good for their communities. @Fishhead43611 ай бұрын
@@richarddevenezia8186trying to control rivers and streams is always a losing battle for exactly that reason. beavers have been disrupting streams and creating ponds for thousands upon thousands of years. nature knows what to do :)

Just so you know deer ticks are out all year round bud so always check yourself over just to be safe ok? I’ve been pulling little baby nymph’s “baby deer ticks” off my cats and dogs more in the last couple weeks then I did all summer long. They don’t do well in wet weather so the dry stretch of weather we’ve had is bringing them out more now then when it was really wet and rainy back in the summer months. Not sure if you’ve ever come a crossed a spot where a deer or moose was bedded down in the winter or not but I have many times and there’s always at least one or two ticks that fell off and was way to swollen with blood to move. Usually there’s a lot of ticks left in the snow where they bedded down. Most I’ve ever seen myself was when I was a kid and I was hunting with my dad when we came across a moose that was still sleeping. I’m pretty sure I soiled myself when the moose jumped up and did a false charge before veering off and running away! He jumped and startled us more then we did him and when we got to where he was bedded down there had to have been close to 50 maybe 60 ticks in the snow and every one of them were still alive, they just couldn’t move due to being extremely full and swollen from the poor moose’s blood. 🩸 Yes they are less active in the cold winter months but they most certainly are out there trust me on that. And as always I loved the new video. You never cease to amaze me with the things you do, I wish there were more people here like you because if we all joined together to be the greatest stewards of this planet we call home we would be able to accomplish and change so many things to protect our environment and all the other living animals would benefit from it also.
