You Were Brave: UNC Rockingham Health Care

It was quite a harry time for hubby and me. He cleaned contagious rooms and I worked past retirement age. Every one worked above the call of duty. I admitted the first Covid patient we received. Ronnie, you did an excellent job on this video and I hope it receives wide viewership because it deserves it. Thank you, Karen and David.

Excellent video. I can confidently say that UNC Rockingham saved my husband’s life while he was hospitalized with Covid. Although, he is not completely healed almost one year later, and suffers from the damage done to his body, I still have my husband. My children still have their daddy because of YOU! I have much love and respect to all of our wonderful medical team. I’m proud to be part of One Great Team, and I thank God we are seeing the light at the end of that dark tunnel. As medical staff I will never forget the scripture that got me through countless Covid exams while I was pregnant with my daughter. My fear became courage, and I found a passion in helping others in isolation. On my face shield was written: Psalm 91:2-7 “2 I will say of the Lord, He is my refuge and my fortress: my God; in him will I trust. 3 Surely he shall deliver thee from the snare of the fowler, and from the noisome pestilence. 4 He shall cover thee with his feathers, and under his wings shalt thou trust: his truth shall be thy shield and buckler. 5 Thou shalt not be afraid for the terror by night; nor for the arrow that flieth by day; 6 Nor for the pestilence that walketh in darkness; nor for the destruction that wasteth at noonday. 7 A thousand shall fall at thy side, and ten thousand at thy right hand; but it shall not come nigh thee”

Why do they never answer the phone, but pick it up and hang up. We had a question about blood poisioning and did not want to waste time for the staff if was just going to go away. We had to go to Virginia to help this person.
