Before you start investing, it's crucial to understand the basics of investing, different asset classes (stocks, bonds, real estate, etc.), and the associated risks. are you investing for retirement, buying a home, or building an emergency fund? Your goals will help shape your investment strategy.

I Invest in low-cost index funds or ETFs that track broad market indices, such as the S&P 500. These funds offer diversification across a wide range of stocks and can be a more passive, low-maintenance investment option. They are suitable for investors who prefer a hands-off approach and want exposure to the overall market. Thanks to my financial advisor, I've turned my portfolio around from $200k to over $800k in a few years.

The most important thing that should be on everyone mind currently should be to invest in different sources of income that doesn't depend on the government. The key to big returns is not big moving stocks. It's managing risk in relationship to reward. Having the correct size on and turning your edge as many times as necessary to reach your goal. That holds true from long term investing to day trading.

Even with the right technique and assets some investors would still make more than others, as an investor, you should’ve known that by now, nothing beats experience and that’s final, personally I had to reach out to a market analyst for guidance which is how I was able to grow my account close to a million, withdraw my profit right before the correction and now I’m buying again

I have been a dividend focused investor for a long time. This does not mean I don't own growth stocks, I do. A well rounded portfolio should be a mixture of both categories. One way to minimize the anxiety out of stock market investing, is to make sure you keep a large cash cushion. I invest in the market, but never put all my money in market.

Market down turns are buying opportunities. Only buy stocks you truly believe in. That way you will have the faith and courage to buy more in a market down turn. Only sell when you lose faith in the company. Then sell regardless of it being up or down and reinvest in a company you do have faith in.

30 year investments in the S&P 500 earn at worst 9.8% annualized. (Doubling in a little over 10 years.) That includes periods ending at the market bottoms of 2009 and 2022. Returns that most people should be happy with. But many did not like the trip. Investing is about waiting. 20 or more years for the S&P 500. Not about the buying and selling.

We were both still working, and took the payment amount that we had been using to pay off our mortgage faster and we put it straight into investments. We were able to retire early because of almost 7 years of putting away what would have been our mortgage payment as well as maxing out our 401K/403B plans. Thankfully we were taught by both of our parents the value of living within our means. Thank you for your advice. I know it will help people. we are interested in investments that could set me up for retirement , I mean I've heard of people that netted hundreds of thousands during these crash, I listened to someone on a podcast who earned over $650K in less than a year, what's the strategy behind such returns?

Bitcoin is on its way to breaking records, getting closer to hitting the new high prices. Showing that it's gaining more value and could go even higher than we've seen before. This could mean great things for people looking to invest, suggesting now might be a good time to get involved before it jumps even higher. It's an exciting moment that could change the game in general....managed to grow a nest egg of around 3.2Bitcoin to a decent 16.4Bitcoin. At the heart of this evolution is Laura Morgan, whose deep understanding of both cryptocurrency and traditional trading has been instrumental. Her holistic approach to investment and commitment to staying abreast of market trends make her an invaluable ally in navigating this new era in cryptocurrency investment...
I've followed many traders over the years, but none have been as consistently accurate as Laura Morgan...She's truly in an inspiration to us all.

Bought AMD at 178€ now its 133€ :( imma hold them hoping they come back
@soylentgreenb3 ай бұрын
As much as I think AMD is a good company; the valuation is kind of crazy. AMD has been doing well; recovering quickly from being a dying company almost a decade ago; it can still grow in market share from intel which is having problems with gate oxidation, power draw and voltage degradation and might have to do a big recall of high end processors. The problem is that AMD is priced like this already happened. Fast growing companies tend to be very volatile. You’re not just paying book value for the company; investors already anticipate growth will continue or setbacks will continue so price can swing around greatly. AI hype is a decade or two premature IMO; people just got star struck by chat GPT because they hadn’t seen the slow climb of AI over decades. AI is not profitable; supplying the chips is profitable as long as companies are willing to continue burning billions trying to make it profitable and buy your chips. You can’t time the top or the bottom. That’s just how it is; in the short term hype and fear drives the market and in the long term it is the actual outcome that wins. I obviously don’t know if AMD is a good buy but I strongly suspect its not. When AI hype dies and AI is anathema is when I’m going to be really interested. I sold a lot of nvidia way too early; but I can’t time the market and I earned a lot of money while valuations were more sane.
@cristianandrei5462Ай бұрын
I'm not going to question you decision to buy AMD, but I always have a point beyond which I no longer hold to the stock and It's just a loss.
