I have a few of these in my yard thinking they were weeds. I have recently found out what they were.I have kept two but would like to maintain their size, this is a good idea to keep it smaller.

They're beyond beautiful when in full bloom. And the flowers are silky soft. They're also low maintenance and drought resistant so constant watering isn't an issue. Don't give them feed high in nitrogen as they are a producer so nitrogen feedings will kill them. Thanks for the comment and view.

Sadly the California heat took it's toll on this plant while I was away for a week. I look forward to doing another when I'm able to but currently too hectic to tackle the project. Hopefully soon though. Thanks for watching and commenting. Sorry there's not more.

What variety of mimosa is this?
@JustinJoyinglife4 жыл бұрын
I don't have a clue. It's from a seed that came from a tree in my yard.

Probably not actually mimosa but Persian silk
@cannawithkendall18726 ай бұрын
@@keptleroymg6877 Persian silk is a mimosa. Mimosa is Persian silk. They are the same thing, and this comment is 3 years old. Thanks.

@cannawithkendall1872 they are only colloquially the same thing but not in their taxonomy and it's obviously not a good name since there is an actual mimosa family that looks very similar.
