Marine Parade MRT will be the most crowded of all TEL4 stations on opening day and the most used during operation. It is closest to shopping malls, hawker centre, east coast park/beach, and of course marine parade heartland. When it opens on 23 June 2024, I hope it will be FULLY ready including adjourning bus stops, bicycle racks, covered linked walkways, etc. as it is/will be the last TEL4 station to finish construction.

TEL4 stations are not really conveniently linked to the rest of the MRT network as none of the TEL4 stations are interchange stations. However, Tanjong Rhu station is within 15 minutes walking distance from Stadium station. LTA may want to consider treating TanjongRhu-Stadium stations as though they are an interchange station. For example, people transiting between Tanjong Rhu and Stadium stations are given 20 to 30 minutes grace to tap out from one station, walk to the other station, and tap in, without extra charge.

Better build a new linkway between TE23 and CC6, either above ground beside Tanjong Rhu suspension bridge (or dismantle that bridge replacing it with a wide flat platform above the narrow Kallang Basin channel) relocating carparks L and K somewhere else to make way for a more-or-less straight platform, or perhaps below Kallang Basin an underwater walkway straight thru between TE23 and CC6 platforms. In light of upcoming Long Island, TEL4 stations will be even more important transporting people between east coast and the city/rest of Singapore, so this "interchange" or link becomes even more essential. Whatever form the link takes, the time it takes to transfer between CC6 and TE23 will be shortened to under 5 minutes.

@@SmilingGirl-gf2yf That will actually require more manpower and engineering challenges between (TE23) Tanjong Rhu and (CC6) Stadium. You will have to consider factors such as the environment. Due to the river just beside (TE23) Tanjong Rhu Station Exit 2, they can't possibly excavate the underpass as the TEL4 tunnel itself Is already 37 centimetres above the KPE Tunnel already. That would also mean they need to close the section of the Kallang-Paya Lebar Expressway (KPE) Tunnel, which will also pose inconvenience to those travelling towards their destinations by vehicles.

Why LTA position Tanjong Rhu station at the private condos? Rich people living there have cars. Should position station at HDB BTO area near the swimming club.
