What’s your favorite place to visit in San Antonio?

I just like going downtown to the Riverwalk and sneaking into all the hotel pools. LOL

We love the Riverwalk, stayed at one of the hotels downtown once. It’s a nice tourist area. I like going in December when you see all the holiday lights.

@@MrSTravelQuest Yes, we've stayed at the Holiday Inn Riverwalk the day after Thanksgiving. They light the river with Christmas lights on that day and then have a river parade in the evening.

There is also a fragrance garden for the blind, a Japanese garden and my favorite the mini houses with different xeriscape front yards, very cute. Plus there are days when you can take your dog there too.

Is that the Japanese Tea Garden near the San Antonio Zoo? I have to revisit that area next time we're in San Antonio.

I have never thought about going to a Botanical Garden. But after watching this video and hearing you describing the San Antonio Botanical Garden, I think I am going to have to stop and check it out the nest time I’m in San Antonio. Thanks for the great video.

You won’t be disappointed! We always pass by it and go downtown San Antonio. You can easily spend a few hours here. What should we highlight next when we visit San Antonio? Thanks for watching!

@@MrSTravelQuest My two favorite things to do when I’m in San Antonio is too first: go by and tour the Alamo. (Side note) I had a great Grandfather that died in the Alamo. And my second: favorite thing to do is to go walk the Riverwalk. Love your channel! Keep the videos coming. 😊

@@paulmilsaps4476 That’s pretty cool to have a family connection to the Alamo. We love walking the Riverwalk, Alamo and watching the light show (the saga) on the side of a cathedral. So much to do in San Antonio! Planning to do a Riverwalk video during the holidays.

So cool that you made a video on this awesome place and my hometown! It's one of my favorite places to go to in SA. I've been to it twice but want to go again to make a video on it too.

It was our first time going. We have visited the Alamo and Riverwalk before. We were pleasantly surprised how huge the garden was. I wanted to visit Japanese Tea Garden as well, but it closes at 5pm. Where should we go next in San Antonio?

@@MrSTravelQuest This past week I was at O.P. Schnabel Park and Phil Hardberger Park. They're two popular parks here in SA with plenty of trails but and I like them a lot but my favorite is Friedrich Wilderness Park because it has views of the Hill Country and a good mix of easy and somewhat challenging trails. I would also suggest Government Canyon State Natural Area. I've never been to it, I tried going one time but it was closed. I heard it's back open again though and it also has beautiful Hill Country views.

@@TheTravelingTexan I have booked Government Canyon a few times and it always rains. I know it has some great trails and dinosaur tracks. I hope to check it out during the fall months. I appreciate the recommendations, looking to check out some other things in San Antonio soon.
