FWIW- Jackie Coogan always had good things to say about Charlie Chaplin regardless of how he'd been treated as a child. For one thing, when Mr. Coogan discovered that ALL his monies that he'd earned as a child and teen performer had been spent by his parents and stepfather, he went to the Chaplin Studios and Mr. Chaplin gave him $1000 (in 1930's money) on the spot no questions asked!

Miss holier than thou Loretta Young was a dominant figure on set and nobody had the nerve to pressure her into any situation! Always hid behind her religious persona.
