Uncovering a Hidden Gem | Birmingham Wildlife Conservation Park | Zoo Review & Tour

This is our local little wildlife place and our kids love it. For the price it is such a great little place. Now our girls are older (9 and 6), we tend to do half a day at the wildlife park and then straight behind the car park is Cannon Hill Park which is fantastic if you want to fill the rest of the day. They have a couple of play areas, a crazy golf place, some little rides, a little land train, some ride along boats and is perfect if you have little ones. Sienna would love it when she's a little older so worth keeping in mind. Sometimes we go to Cannon Hill Park for a day in itself and take a picnic and the kids will take their scooters. There's also the MAC theatre on the grounds that does plays etc and there are toilets in there too. Much better than the portaloos lol! Sienna is adorable by the way. So lovely to see her babbling away and getting excited seeing all the animals.

Looks a good day out for the kids. As you say just the right size zoo for young children. Lovely to be able to see the animals up close. Very rare you get to see a sloth up close and actually moving. Great they keep the glass clean for a good view. Loved the video.

Excellent video and it certainly is a hidden gem. Last year we planned a 3 day tour starting here, then Dudley Zoo, ending with West Midlands Safari Park and this was definitely our favourite.
