He, the entire team at NewsNationNow and WFLA all deserve Pulitizers, but Brian Entin especially and JB Buino too, because that week leading up to Gabby’s body being found - he lost his voice from marathon covering every single day AND the day her body was found he suffered his own personal loss with the loss of his Uncle who worked as a Firefighter during 9/11. And so many days since and with such incredible attention to detail when it comes to integrity and respect. Both are exemplar examples of what good journalism truly is, and how it should function ethically. Been a long time since I’ve seen such great work in reporting like that, and Entin especially, in terms of investigative reporting and being there from the beginning, being so devoted, so passionate, so critical, driven to find the truth for justice for her family, justice in holding law enforcement’s feet to the fire (as any and all journalists should, always be careful to accept anything anyone says at mere face value only, until there’s double/multiple verification at all times). Journalists such as these make me very excited to pursue that as a career following my approaching graduation.

Well the killer is dead, he died, so thats that, its not like he is on a beach enjoying margaritas. I guess the Laundrie parents could get time for obstructing justice, but in order for that to play out they would have to be stupid enough to talk. Idk If I were his parents and I found my son was already dead I would call up Petito's fam and try to apologize, and that would probably get me caught though for helping him or for knowing what he did and thats why the Laundries aren't calling the Petitios cuz they don't want to go to jail, they would rather live with that kind of crushing guilt that will probably fuck you up so fucking bad they will get cancer in a couple years out of pure stress. Personally Id prob rather take the jail time, at least you wouldn't have to deal with that emotional stranglehold of horridness. I keep wondering about how much Brian must have been a momma's boy, who would go to their parents house after murdering their fiancé that used to live with them unless u knew your parents wouldn't turn you in.

@Davey Smith my thoughts exactly! We have the right to remain silent. You dont have to incriminate yourself. You are presumed innocent until proven guilty. The burden of proof lays upon the prosecution. The very reason the defense attorney told them , told Brian not to answer any questions. The reason for their silence is fear of incriminating Brian and following their attorneys advice. It's not lax or unlawful. It's your rights. Otherwise we would have a police state and live under tyranny. You would have no protection from police harrassment. Unreasonable or unfounded searches and traffic stops. It' not unlawful or obstruction of justice. Remaining silent is not unlawful. We wouldn't know until it was our child. Also Bertolino stated Brian told his parents he and Gabby had a fight and were just taking a break like they had in the past.

Im with you Ashley. I'm normally forgiving of other people's mistakes. But in this case, when the police let the only suspect slip away even though they said they were watching him. And they didn't find Brian even though they've been searching the reserve for weeks. And now two people are dead and there seems to be no possibility of finding out what happened between Gabby and Brian, I really feel infuriated and in disbelief as to why the police made so many mistakes in this case. Here's what happened. Laundrie didn't like Gabby complaining and she wouldn't stop so he took choked her to shush her and went way beyond and she died. Laundrie went home and told his parents and they helped his escape and told him he's going to spend his life in prison or go to the swamps and have the predators (alligators/,snakes) take his life. It's pretty easy to figure out because that's the way those people without a soul are like.

I am pretty sure they would have to charge him with her murder within a relatively short period of time after arresting him. They didn't have any evidence that he killed her, they didn't even have a body so they couldn't really waste their chance at charging him without anything to back it up. After they did find reason to arrest him (using her credit card) he was already gone. That's why they started searching for him. Unfortunately, before then he was free to come and go as he pleased.

FINALLY! I’ve been screaming at the screen on so many channels about the attorney/client privilege here. Kudos for examining it publicly! I’m also going to watch your story on crime tourists. I lived down the street from Nicole Simpson at the time of the murders and we were swarmed with “crime scene tourists”. There were families with young kids taking pictures, smiling, out in front of the home where two people, a young man who was just doing a good deed and had his whole life in front of him, and a mother of very young children, were brutally murdered. One family even told reporters that they’d planned a trip to California to go to Disneyland but decided to go to the crime scene instead because they “just couldn’t miss the opportunity”. Their children were elementary school age and asking if they could get closer and see some blood. Some people just should not breed.

Brian is not dead and I will prove to you why..... Brian was not seen after September 8th. The only person that has testified to seeing him was his sister at that campground. He was never seen again. He was never seen throwing out the trash or mowing the lawn or walking a dog or seen through a window, nothing. The cops put up the cameras supposedly two or three days before he supposedly left on his final camping journey.... But no camera footage has been shown to us of Brian. There is no proof that he ever came home from the first camping trip with his sister and mother and father. And when they do find his body after 4 weeks of searching it only takes his mother and father 1 hour to find it..... And what they find is only his head. And what should have taken a week or two to confirm the identity only takes less than a day, why might you ask? It's because Brian's uncle was his dentist.... And Brian's Uncle provided the FBI with the dental record, how convenient. I will tell you what happened, Brian's parents along with him murdered somebody and cut off their head and took that head to the uncle that was a dentist and had it x-rayed and all set up and ready to go for the day that they would join the search and then point out the skull and have need for identification. No bones were found, no ability to measure arm length or leg length or tissue samples, nothing, absolutely no DNA other than the teeth were required. This is an incredible setup and for what reason and to what gaines I don't understand. Brian is not dead, and some other person has taken the fall for him.

There’s always those that make it bad on the rest of us whether man or woman. That’s what is sad, cause not all cops are bad, not all women are bad nor are all men bad. There’s just always these dang stigmas that push to the forefront & cloud judgement though!!! As did in the Moab pullover. A 911 call is made stating Brian was indeed slapping Gabby. Well she obviously retaliated & struck him causing a mark on his face. So the cops there go with the mark on his face instead of the initial 911 call??? You know, so what if Gabby had bruises on her or was upset??? No big deal to those male cops. Especially since Gabby had been mind f’d to believe everything was all her fault anyway! 😢

@@chrisw9122 I always found it odd that the Petitos and Schmidts waited as long as they did to report Gabby missing. Since her dad moved to Florida, he would have checked the Laundries home early on and found Gaby's van there. Wouldn't he also have banged on the Laundries door since they weren't returning his calls, maybe call the police on them? Another thing is that Gabby spoke to her mom at the Moab incident and then again later at least once. Wouldn't that have set off some alarm bells? I also can't see why Gabby wouldn't have told her mother what was really going on. Her 2 sets of parents should have been worried and on high alert about Brian after the Moab incident. It makes me wonder if they merely saw it as "fighting" just as Gabby said in the cop cam instead of something more serious.

Brian Entin is an amazing reporter and sticks faithfully to reporting the truth! He should get an award AND a raise from his dedicated work. I am not someone who wants to further carry on to it's death, a case that has to be hurting the Petito family beyond words, BUT...to get full justice for Gabby and her memory and her time here on this earth, we OWE it to her at least, to sift through every piece of evidence until we find as much of the truth as we can. Otherwise we are doing her a great injustice. Rest in Peace, dear angel Gabrielle Petito....you are one of the angels now.....Thank you, Ashleigh! You're amazing at what you do. I love your questioning and thought process....

@@supernova.143 They were very close to Jose Baez office. Part of me thinks they were lining up a slimey big-time criminal attorney for Brian. For when the big charges came. (Jose Baez, but this is nothing but rumor). Just weird that it was always said they were meeting THEIR ATTORNEY whom is BERTALINO. Very curious to know what that trip was about since they just went back to ORLANDO again.

Finally. Many of my questions I've asked online about the Laundries Attorney, multiple clients on the same Criminal Case or Cases, the timeline of Attorney Client Privilege and Confidentiality, and exactly when he was officially considered each or multiple family Laundries members Attorney for the Case or Cases to do with Gabby, and certain slips about the case and speaking about his clients feelings in the Case or Cases in the Gabby Case. Oh and not to mention his attitude on TV, temper, bad language, and advising them when Gabby's Parents were calling Mrs. Laundrie, Mr. Laundrie, Brian Laundrie, Cassie Laundrie and other family members. Thank you for covering most of the questions and concerns I've had about the Laundries Attorney.

I’m wondering if the laundries had any deaths in the family that were buried…maybe that body is missing from the grave - maybe dug up during the first trip back home…hard to believe a guy like Brian would commit suicide…very fishy…the point in him going in with the gators sets up this theory …that boy is in South America somewhere…

Some question how Bertolino can represent the Laundries despite not being licensed in FL. Lawyers in good standing from other states can temporarily practice law in FL. Only big limitation is they CANNOT appear before a court unless they become a member of the FL Bar. It was clear to me that Bertolino was there only to run interference for the Laundries in the early going.

You make a very good point, however I would be very surprised if SB hasn't already considered this. He likely has a colleague or at least knows of an attorney in FL that he can work with behind the scenes to physically represent them in any necessary court proceedings. That would be my guess at least, but I do think the question should be posed to him to see what his response is.
